Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong if no calculations are being made when I input my stats? I have tried to edit a copied version as a google document, as well as downloading it and opening it with open office. In both cases, the actual APS, mod AS and DPS remained unchanged. I have tried both the simple and the detailed versions of the spreadsheet.
I find I always have to save the document first or open it in office (though open office should work) to be able to input values and notice any changes. When you download then open it how are you downloading it? Just hitting CRTL+S, picking a destination and saving or is there some other way you're saving it?
I'm having an issue with the spreadsheet where everything looks to be calculated correctly, but my final DPS number is wildly off.
Calculated values for Intellect, Crit %, Crit Damage %, Attack Speed, Bonus Damage, Armor, Strength, Vitality, Total HP are all dead-on accurate on the Equipped Items sheet, but the final DPS number comes to 32074.71 with only GC enabled, whereas in-game the number comes to 22483.15. Any ideas?
I read the note about the bug with weapons that have Damage % on them, which mine does, but in order to get the numbers to get close I'd have to adjust the minimum damage down about 300 points, which is way more than the workaround suggested.

Can you post your stats and weapon info (and OH if applicable)? Just the total int, crit, etc, not for each item aside from weapon and OH.
First of all thank you for the effort you've put on this.
I'm still trying to get my dps as closest to the real as possible, but something is really wrong...
All my stats are correct (I triple-checked it) on the spreadsheet, but the spreadsheet is still saying that my total dps should be 31051.13 (magic weapon, force weapon rune, and familiar buffs are turned off on the right corner), but it's real value is 25360!
Any tips or suggestions of what could have screwed my results?
(I'm using the 2nd model of the spreadsheet, the detailed one)
Thanks in advance!
Are you adding the weapon bonus damage to the GC bonus? The weapon bonus damage should not be entered anywhere. Some spreadsheets use it to back calculate the base weapon damage to get a dps match with your profile dps but I've decided to just aim for matching the in-game value.

Can you post your total stats including weapon info like the previous poster?

Removing that brought the DPS number within 3. Thanks for the help.
hi, the spreadsheet works wonders, however as u know weapons that have +%damage ar still a bit off as it is my case right now, in the spreadsheet showing like 37k dps and on my screen its a little more.

Yeah, that's a bug that seems to apply to the in game number but not the number shown in your profile out of game. Since I assume most people use the in game value I'm trying to match that as best as possible, which unfortunetelly sometimes requires fudging the weapon damage slightly to get a match when weapons with +damage% are present.

forget that I messed up on a max damage number, now its like 1 single point off, so its as good as it comes.
Thanks for making this spreadsheet, it's proved invaluable in looking for upgrades.
I noticed a couple minor issues though and thought I could lend a hand.
The equipped comparison for MH item 1 and MH item 2 return different results when putting items of the exact same stats into each. Looking at the formulas MH item 2 is calculating differently and not subtracting the currently equipped stats in all fields.
The item dps order at the bottom of the Equipped Items tab is a great reference. However in the (very unlikely) event that two items have the exact same dps it bugs out. Here is a proposed fix to avoid this situation:
On the Equipped Calculations tab:
In cell B36 title it "Rank"
In cell C36 put in the following formula:
Solved my damage issue, I had a ring that added 8-16 damage
EDIT2:
Im looking at a weapon with 12% bonus damage, should that be typed in anywhere like under K8 ?
As I said a few posts up, no, bonus damage from a weapon does not need to be entered anywhere in the spreadsheet. It is already used to produce the weapon damage range shown in the tooltip. The reason I have that bonus damage field still on the "equipped items" tab is mainly in case you have something like "Increases damage by x% to elites" and want to know how it would affect your dps, though if you put any values there it will not match the in game DPS value.

Thanks, I'll take a look at that since I haven't used those functions before. As for the Main Hand comparison, that has been fixed, thanks. I took a quick look at the rest of the item equations and they seem to be working correctly.
Loroese, for the Bonus Damage %, what stat should I be reading off the character sheet for this? Damage increased by skills?
If you're using the main tab, yes, if you're using the "Equipped Item" tab, then ignore it and just use the logic boxes to indicate which skills you have active. For the later case the resulting Bonus Damage blue box should match the in game value shown on your char sheet for Damage Increased By Skills.
Not sure if you mentioned this or anything, didn't see it but I'm rather tired atm.. IS it possible that you could add a + or - to the DPS difference in the DPS comparison section at all? Keep looking at weapons and such but sometimes I get confused lol. Awesome job as well btw.
Actually now that I'm looking at it, it just showed me a -.. Although on another weapon that was a decrease it did not. hmm. Yea not sure whats up with that. Is it supposed to show if it will lower your dps as well? I am trying to compare a 2h atm, says 7300. When I put it on I lose about 7300 or so.
`Scratch all that. Wasn't putting in the correct information on the main page. Was only putting in the weapon stats in DPS comparison, not ALL my stats etc. Thanks!
What do we do with the +___-___ elemental damage thats on the weapon? Would we put that were +min +max dmg is on the weapon comparison? Or is that already added into the dmg range on the weapon tool tip range and not needed in the spreadsheet?
I've read that its added in already, just looking for confirmation.

then copy this formula through cell O36
You can then delete all the formulas below row 36.
Then on the Equipped Items tab:
In Cell C33 put in the following formula:
=OFFSET($B$30,0,MATCH(COUNTA($B$30:C30),'Equipped Calculations'!$C$36:$O$36,0))
and copy it across to cell O33
Then in Cell C34 put in the following formula:

and this formula can be used for both DPS and EHP lines so copy it across and down to O35
