Depends on how many Emeralds you can socket in all your gear. Level 14 Emerald gives +20% MF and 100 precision. Apparently the MF classes will be crit reliant.
Full Tal Rasha's Wrappings gave 163-168% MF... and that is only from equipping 5 pieces of armor. Even if you did not have any more mf gear, it was not hard to get another 20%+ from charms... 80% is less than TR's chest piece gives alone

My bad, you're right. I must've been thinking key run gear or something.
I know this is a pure MF item set, and will probably end up with semi gimped DPS.
Main/Off
Fragment of Destiny and Ume's Lament both 25-29%
Volume of Fate - 23-25%
Or 2 hander
No 2 handers have over the combined MF of the above two items,
The Grand Vizier 25-29%
May be used to swap MF for damage.
2x ring and 1x amulet
Wanderlust - 50-54%
Wanderlust - 50-54%
Squirt's Necklace - 50-54%
Alternatively, go for set bonus 40% and lose 10~% MF
Belt and chest
Tal Rasha's Fine Spun Cloth - 50-54%
Tal Rasha's Guardianship - 35-39%
Set bonus: No MF, but casting speed 22%
Glove
Tasker and Theo - 30-34%
Boots
Dungeon Runners - 50-54%
It's like this item was made for MFing
Pants
Plutonic Greaves - 25-29%
or Monk set legs, above will probably be cheaper and more available
Shoulders, bracers
Crafted, no unique/set with MF

Keep in mind rares might end up giving more MF than legendaries.
True, I had forgotten that is how they worked.
Main/Offhand - 29x2=58
Rings/Ammy - 54x3=162
Belt - 54
Chest - 39
Glove 34
Boots - 54
Pants - 29
Helm - 29+20(per socket)=49-109
= 479-539
Bracers - Between 29-54 likely
Shoulders - Between 29-54 likely
= 537-589
If each piece potentially gives 54-70MF:
722-990
Yeah I am sure rares will have more MF potential, and there are probably going to be some other ways to get MF.
What was the most MF a D2 Sorc could get?
My bad, you're right. I must've been thinking key run gear or something.
You didn't want anymore than like 200% MF or you'd start finding absurd amounts of magic items and less and less uniques/rares/sets.
In D3 though, who knows how this will work.
