They do seem kind of the same, I'm sure once we play with them though we will notice damage differences and added effects that make them stand out more.
Disintegrate looks awesome to me.
Yeah, disintegrate seems to be a boss killer, LOL! It does more damage the longer it is focused on a boss.
OMFG THAT CLASS IS RAW AS HELL!!!!!!!that video just blew my mind!

I think people were more focused on the Wizard, it being the new class.
There will be more open gaming tomorrow so someone is bound to post the skills of barbarian and WD hopefully.
Yeah i know i hope so too. The wizard may be the new class, but id still like to see the talents for the other classes aswell since we only got to see a little of what they could do.
DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. I was a "bit" worried when someone pointed out that there was only 10 attack spells for the Wizard...
Where did Jay say this (note that I've been on D3fans.com for the past 2.5 hours keeping track of D3 related stuff)? I can't seem to find it :(.
Well you can see on the main page of this thread the list of stuff. It'll be kind of like:
"Tier 1" Storm Spells - Starting
"Tier 2" Storm Spells - Unlocked after 5 points in Tier 1
"Tier 3" Storm Spells - Unlocked after 5 points in Tier 2
"Tier 4" Storm Spells - Unlocked after 5 points in Tier 3
"Tier 5" Storm Spells - Unlocked after 5 points in Tier 4
The further down in the Storm tree you go, the access to more storm spells you get, I'd assume.
Each tree, Arcane, Storm, and Conjuring will work the same. The more in each tree you have the better spells in each tree you can get. It's sort of similar to D2 where you had to have 1 point in a certain skill to advance further down the tree.

Hahaha, this post made me lol, only because it's so true :).

I'm just assuming it will go to 5, 4 seems like a odd number to leave off on and the spells don't seem completed. Tier 5 was probably hidden to keep us surprised.

Yeah, I completely agree on that part. I'm glad that Bashiok also said why the devs decided to stop on level 99 in D2. Such obscure numbers :(.
Skill Runes are in full force now and showing great results for Diablo 3. I was able to collect several different runes for skills with great outcomes. Runes such as allowing for multiple shots...increasing damage...and so on. Great stuff here.

Awesome :D, the one I'm most curious about is what kind of modifications runes do for the Slow Time skill. My mind keeps drawing a blank. Perhaps a bubble that slows objects and does damage over time to enemies?
A talent calculator for the Wizard class can be found here.
Of course passive talents go up to 15 but the current coding for the calculators only allow for 9 maximum.
Does anyone know how accurate that wizard skill tree is? I didn't play the demo so I was just wondering if those were the skill actual mechanics (aside from not just up to 9)?

I believe those are 100% accurate as to what we know so far.

3 skill tree, but in each skill tree 5 "levels" or "tiers" of skills and talents.

I only see that it goes down to level 4?

Going back and watching the game play video for the Wizard you do see her use tornadoes to take down some towers and kill enemies. Interesting.

By the way, lets just close this thread and redirect the discussion to the main Wizard thread.
