That's all of them as far as I know, combined with the Skill Rune system... this is insane, this game is going to have a ridiculous amount of diversity. I don't mind what they did to the attribute system after hearing all this.
It wont be confusing, maybe it looks slightly confusing now because its all written out in plain word but in-game with the skill trees tab im sure if will be all displayed properly, coherent and whatnot
I don't really mind the name change myself, skill/talent/whatever, I look at it as more of a Blizzard thing than a WoW thing. All the D3 announcements today definitely have sounded good to me so far. The days not over but I'm pretty optimistic now.
There are 10 attack skills, 2 armor skills, 1 passive skill (fast casting), and 2 defensive skills (teleport and slow time).
Most of those are Talents, not skills.
I don't recall specifying anything. According to the list they're all called talents and you spend skill points. Call them whatever the hell you want, in the end it all means the same thing. I was just correcting that there's 55 things to drop points into and not 57 so chill out.
Time since D2 release : 8 years. Yea I think thats a lot.
The problem was that you stated it as if their were multiple Diablo games that had Skills as the label, as if their were opportunities for them to have changed it but didn't. And 8 years isn't a lot of time, lets be realistic.
