Anyway looks like conflag is better... You can probably get 100m from each missile with proper optimization if not more. The frozen orb with 2h crit for me for ~200m plus conflag you dont have to manage AP and FO you run out, and simplcitiy strength gem gives nice heal i guess... (wasn't using it here by mistake).
Edit2: with a bit more optimization and using focus and restraint i can get close to 300m crits with mm conflag... cant see how i can give up unity in solo though (can always fish for a zombie rift...).
The Helmet works ?
The legendary power not works...
If you're talking about the all runes for slow time one, it is indeed buggy. In my case though, I get the buff icon when inside the bubble, yet there are no changes to profile dps. So can't really say, whether it actually works or not.
Either way, I think that running no-rorg setup with focus and restraint is much better. 150% to your damage greatly overshadows whatever you can get from all runes on the slow time.
Those hands are dropping non-stop on the PTR. I think they will put the new Arcane Orb legendary power on this item. Delsere won't go live without an additional help. Tal'Rasha got meteor boots, Delsere needs a legendary power as well to keep up. Energy Twister already got his legendary power, and is now an utility spell instead of a spender.
Please no... forcing us to use RORG is garbage. Tal rasha is so awesome because you can use 6p without RORG and use the meteor boots.
They need to add a 7th piece to all sets or just always make sure that the complimentary item won't be one of the 6p items but that's almost impossible... Plus, there's already the slow time helm (currently bugged afaik) so it would mean that you'd have to choose between a great utility or a damage boost (if those gloves get a AO bonus).
Anyway i agree with you that DMO (Delsere's magnum opus) won't go live in its current state because if it will it would be horribly underpwoered in relation to Tal rasha.
The solution to this set imo is to make the slow time bubbles stack. Make the DOT damage stack when you have more than 1 bubble and make the bonus damage stack but with diminishing returns - So let's say the first bubble gives you 500%, the second one 250%, third 125% and so on up to a max of 5 or something. Then, this set might be competetive in terms of dps.
In terms of mechanics and gameplay, this set is quite awesome. The slow time bubbles offer great crowd control and it's really awesome to be able to dodge incoming projectiles. Kiting with magic missiles / arcane orbs is quite awesome especially when you can keep all of the mobs slowed. I think the set in general is very nice but it just needs some tweaking.
Don't you think a full set + balstions of will + some mm-conflag/mirrorball/hydra build should be at least on par with FB at least? It doesn't look terribly behind

Yeah i was able to pull off 1.2 billion dps. It's too early to talk numbers but in general it seems ok... There are other builds in the game that are horribly overpowered so it's hard to see a new build as good unless it reaches DH M6 levels of dps... Kinda sucks.
I have tried a bit Delsere with the new Arcane Orb offhand, Triumvriate. With zei + trapped, and focus + restraint v2, Obliteration hits for 2B and Frozen Orb for 1B when all the "conditions" are met.
If you thought Stack Manager 2015 aka Tal'Rasha was annoying, you better not try Delsere. I'm currently trying to adapt to the new playstyle, it's really annoying.
I was getting up to 4bil solo from obliterate, using ancient 'legacy' GoO from live. This was enough to allow my slow time to cooldown after just one cast of the listed spells. But yeah, all those buffs ticking away. Pretty annoying, and still really clunky feeling. The damage did take a huge step forward however.
If they would just make the damn Scorch rune on arcane orb explode on impact... GG. People would run mm conflag + ao scorch and the damage would be awesome with splash. Problem is, that it's yet another fire focused build.
So the other option is to drastically buff magic missile with the cold rune. Make it peirce or explode on impact, increase its damage potential and area of effect. Then a cold focused build with cold mm + fo could be an awesome alternative and a much needed refreshing change to the wizard's metagame in general.
The new changes are straight up buffs but the triumv buff to AO is a bit of a downer because that means you can't go for a 2 handed weapon. Oh well, here's for hoping they change some mm runes or some AO runes because if not, i think a mm conflag build would stilll out-dps a mm+ao or cyclones / shock pulse / whatever.
I've been trying this set with an Arcane build, using the Eneregy Twister - Wicked Wind, MM-Charged Blast, Mirrorball and the bracers that pull in mobs. I've been really enjoying it, though the damage isn't great, it's definitely fun being able to pull a whole bunch of mobs into the bubble.
Combined with a bit of APoC, Magic Weapon Conduit and Astral Presence, I can basically spam the twisters, and so, spam the bubbles.
It's certainly a nice play style, but I can definitely see the new Triumvirate and Arcane Orb being flat out best for this set.
Even with the new damage boost and item to the set. The Pace of the set is too slow compared to Tal rasha. Tal Rasha has a greater pace and burst in solo and group play compared to This set imo.
ofc. new set are exiting since fiebird are boring to play. Both new set giving us many options and build etc.
The optimal idea is to gather the enemy/concentrating them on one small area and nuke them down, both in solo and group play. Tal Rasha superior, due to faster burst dmg and pace of the mechanic imo.
How to fix it? Increase the arcane orb aoe/impact range from 10 yd to 30 yd.
If they buff AO, what's to stop people from using AO with the more powerful Tal's?
If they ramp up the damage I don't see why not, especially for group play, since if you are aiming for higher end GRifts you'll end up with tank or control WD anyway so being stationary won't matter that much.
A new change to Bastion of Will for those who don't want to use the Slow Time Helm for Delsere's:
Bastions of Will:
Now the question is, will this add to the bonus dmgs (Skill Bonus DMG, Spell Bonus DMG, etc) or will it multiply?
On the Energy Twister Build, seems like a key item has been introduced:
Clarity on how the 4 piece will work:
On the Fire Bird MM Approach, seems it has been upped:
For the Tal'Rasha's Build, this item is key:
Meteor Boots (PH Name)
2.2 Hype!
Does it multiply or add?
Multiplicative.
So are the meteor boots btw. And the higher single target buff on them replaces the 100% when active.
Sick, Tal'rasha might be a good one now then.

Just made a short video of a solo gr 38 clear using the new set and a frozen orb build
Quality kinda sucks but just thought it could help some people out to develop their opinion and for those who havent seen it yet
That was the first build i tried and now im going to try mm conflag
Edit: Killing rg on 39 with conflag (non optimized...) http://youtu.be/Zg9gCwMMWlQ

Edit3: this is absolutely op with mm conflag build http://i.imgur.com/kqog8im.png
Edit4: cleared 41 quite easily with a lucky rift, not using unity http://youtu.be/7UOqw74qNOQ

Pretty sure we're gonna get some tal rasha gloves through that item so we can use 2handers without rorg with tal's

I also think that's the case. They are already purple too...

Video of a quick tier 36 clear with a pure Arcane build
So.... The Arcane Orb item is an Offhand... That kinda dampens the build >.>
well it's progress

What i dont understand is why ppl wanna go with frozen orb? Isnt arcane stronger?
1.) conflag runes are pretty strong and many of them are arcane
2.) arcane runes are the strongest in Arcane orb skill
3.) moonlight ward can be a nice dmg boost.
4.) if you add 2 pc tal rasha it gives you the strongest meteor
What you guys think?
I think is mostly because of nostalgia...
And a related question: why do people want to use Arcane Orb at all? It is... not the best skill out there.
