Hi, I'm not sure what to do here. Nearly every build and variant I've tried is as bad as any other in terms of survivability while maintaining enough damage to get through trials. I've got quite a few pieces of gear in the bank, but this weapon is by far the best so I've been trying to make a physical build work. I'm really on the brink of abandoning my WD until they fix Hell Tooth...I just cant' seem to advance any further.
Just off the top of my head, you need a new Mask of Jeram with at least 95% increased pet damage.
Tasker and Theo gloves with at least 45% increased pet attack speed.
I'd replace that Zunimassa's Pox with a +Physical% Stone of Jordan or a good Tall man's finger , your Doombringer is pretty sweet but I for one use Starmetal Kukri therefore I don't really need the Zunimassa bonus.
I'd also reforge the armor from your shoulder piece into some sort of +% dmg, either for fetishes or dog.
Also it would've been amazing if you managed to somehow get atleast 2 sockets on your rings/amulet but losing all that ChD is really bad, but Boon of the Trapped and Boon of the Powerful when upgraded at rank 25 give you somewhere around 45% bonus dmg after killing an elite, not to mention the 15% bonus to elite damage from rank 25 Boon of the Powerful. The pet %dmg gem is also highly recommended.
Other than that, I think the biggest/fastest damage boost you can get is to replace Pox with Stone of Jordan or Tall man's finger and the dexterity pants with some zunimassa pants so you can keep your set bonus.
Life wise, you could replace +15% fire damage on your Mask of Jeram to ~715+ stamina, and mayyyyybe the socket gem to +23% life, if you die that often. I'm not sure if you can get %life on your belt, if so I'd reforge 4k Life per sec to 10 or more % life.
I for one am hunting for the Hexing Pants of Mr. Yan, along with my Starmetal Kukri, I can just run around in circles and place Big Bad Voodoo's ontop of one another and just let my pets do insane damage. With Tasker and Theo and 8 fetishes constanty hitting, I usually stack 3 BBV because the CD resets so fast.
Take everything with a grain of salt, I might be wrong.
How hard are vampire bats hitting? Are they really worth getting so close? Rain of Toads is really nice for keeping your distance and proccing fetish (Although you dont have that passive).
I would consider trading Midnight Feast for Fetish Psycophants. Their extra damage, magnified by your %physical damage, is probably enough to warrant the drop from losing Tribal Rights especially considering no Thing of the Deep. Also they can tank for you and are faster to replenish than your Fetish Army when those guys get one shot.
Piranhado is too op to pass up. Hard crowd control and damage boost. I would trade Zombie Dogs for it since you don't have Tall Man's Finger yet.
