I have 48% Physical damage without the Doombringer. I farm T5 without much trouble surviving at this point, so needing to use Addling Toads for CC isn't too big of a concern. From a purely efficient standpoint, which one should be better to go with (assuming switching to RoT over Explosive Toads for fetishes)?

Yeah the thing is that Rzarazor already has 48% phys dmg without doombringer, so the actual gain in phys-dps is not 18%, but (1,48+0,18) / (1,48) -1 = 12,1%.
It happens to be very close to the 12% sheet dps, but even if it's 13% or 14% phys-dps, I'll take the Rhen'ho with 12% sheet dps.
Where did you get this formula? As far as I know bonus to elemental damage is a straight additive property. I've been doing some searching on the topic and can't find any information that invalidates my current conclusion. But if you have a source I would gladly enlighten myself on the topic.
I use Rhen'ho since the day I got it and love it, tried other weapons but always went back. There is more to it then the flat Phys dam, I like the crowd control and it hits all over the screen plus hits more then once. I used fire at first but went poison once I got a coati helm, when used with addling Toad and poison dogs the dot dam is very noticeable.
It raises your midgets with out no problem, just sit back and enjoy the show, hardly nothing gets near you.

Id say stay with the doom sword. your also getting the extra life which helps all ur minions and you stay alive. On a side note if the socket wasn't a reroll your doom sword can reroll some more damage to overcome the Rhenho while the Rhenho really cant reroll for much
