Hello guys i'm OraK from ZE clan (EU), first time i share something on this forum i hope you will enjoy this build because it's so funny to play
Angry Chicken 2.0 is a physical damage build which is supposed to be the most efficient build to do bounties on lower Torments and get horadric caches faster! I have been trying a lot of builds like Jade, Fire, Pets or just even Locust+Creeping Death and trust me nothing is faster than this one!
I called it 2.0 because, in Diablo Vanilla, it was already used to go faster on low MP but not to kill mobs! Now it’s different, it’s an evolution thanks to CDR!
As I said it's a combination of Cooldown Reduction and skills for movement speed (Hex Angry Chicken, Spirit Walk Jaunt and Horrify Stalker)! I also use Fetishes for Elites and Dogs to reduce damage taken (the chicken suffers dmg when hit! It’s not untouchable) thanks to my Uhkapian Serpent. Dogs + mojo is not important, i just was lucky in getting CDR+%Fetish Army... Thing of the Deep is very good too if combined with Grave Injustice.
Here is a video of a short bounty just to show how it works and my armory (at the end):
There is also a nice variation using Tribal Rites instead of Jungle Fortitude if you don't want to put CDR onto an item (thx to the user PhDeath for remembering it to me, so many things to say i forgot this ^^)
Items:
In the video i have around 54% CDR thx to Helm, Gloves, Shoulders, Mojo, Born's set, Captains Crimson’s bonus set! Don't forget to use some Pick up radius, Grave Injustice and %Physical damage (Doombringer, amulet, bracers) + %Fetish Army (shoulders, mojo)!
My extra items are Uhkapian Serpent (for dmg reduction + zombie dogs life link), amulet Haunt of Vaxo (i have around 4% Stun on Hit) and Strongarm Bracers to proc their effect with Piranhado and blow up everything!
It's not so hard to make it, you just need to craft 4 set pieces and have some gear with CDR (i recommend not to change a lot from my gear, Grin Reaper, Strongarm in particular)
I hope you guys enjoyed your time reading about this extreme cdr Angry Chicken build and i hope some of you will try it ^^ I know it's not a T6 OP build, but efficiency is part of the game and fast horadric caches too.
I like to use Angry chicken instead Spirit Walk when i'm playing my Zookeeper Zombie charger build. The low cooldown of angry chicken and the fact that it's physical aoe damage makes it so much fun. I'm personally getting 20-40 mil crits with it, my only problem with it is the grace period between activating the spell and actually detonating (seems to be 0.5-1s).
My recommendation to your build though is to use Tribal Rites instead of Jungle Fortitude. Other than that solid build for t1-4 and should be hella fun to to play! +1
Ty for your tip about Tribal Rites, i really appreciate it!
I have been trying Tribal Rites before choosing Jungle Fortitude and i noticed that the difference is like 1 sec which is nice but i also considered the fact that Grave Injustice and Pick Up Radius make CDR equal!
The build is supposed to work like this:
- pull in mobs with Piranhado
- Blow Up a group of 4 mobs (that makes CD to 0)
- Spirit Walk+Horrify to get to another group and repeat all
As you can see i can sacrifice Tribal Rites because that "1 sec" i'm getting onto another group and most of the times i don't need it because groups are usually with 5+ mobs That's why i've decided for more damage reduction (considering dogs+uhkapian serpent+toughness is huge)
But yes, it's definitely a nice variation and i should mention in the description, it will be nice for people who doesn't want to put CDR on 1 item
Looks fun but problem with gear dependent builds is that it could take so long to gear up for them that they're not worth it short term. Which gear pieces would you say are a MUST for this build, if any?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
There is only one god and his name is Death.
And there is only one thing we say to Death. Not today.
In the OP i wrote "It's not so hard to make it, you just need to craft 4 set pieces and have some gear with CDR (i recommend not to change a lot from my gear, Grin Reaper, Strongarm in particular)"
So 2 Borns, 2 Cpt Crimson are MUST and u should have Grin Reaper and Strongarm for a better result! Rest of the gear is at you, the important thing is to gear CDR on the same slots.
Why not just get spirit vessel , it gives you the reduced cooldown on spirit walk and horrify ( hurray even more spam on that ). And it gives you a backup , and for lower torment speedfarming all you really need is a backup , as you'd only die getting stuck in very very bad situations. I'm a bit salty about this guide getting featured as it just took every single movement speed spell but didn't really think much further than that.
EDIT : excuse the negative tone , I just reread it and it seems a bit too much.
Ty for your post
When i decided to public this guide the first thing i thought about was the major part of the gamers! We all know that, 90% of Blizzard costumers are casual gamers that will never have "our" gear, so i decided to make public a "basic" skills setup that could be as good as possible for the majority of the people Obv me, you and the other 10% of players will take this guide like the base for something better like Spirit Vessel!
If a casual gamer follow the description, he won't have any problems imho! Jungle fortitude + dogs + serpent and he won't go mad if his life goes down eheh
@ DenkaSaeba25
I think Grin Reaper is better because is the only mask that can roll CDR and the Visage is more efficient for higher torments because you need cc!
with full buffs up it's a little under 4.9m pdps (926/1356k unbuffed) on top of having around 15m toughness (8m unbuffed) and melts everything including t6... and that's without smk... imagine what it would be like with one
edit: it's important to note that the MOST important item to using angry chicken and vengeful spirit effectively is hexing pants, since neither skill requires movement to stop when casting
