Witch Doctor is suppose to communicate with the unformed land and walk with spirits, thus I think its appropiate to try a further tweaking , combining, and extendingh the old Spirit Barrage build as well as that of the Haunt Build ... and here's it
This build is not aimming to be the heavy DPS for solo , but was mean to harbour the true form of a Witch Doctor walking the Trance .. Its based on 2 principle .. heavy Mana Pool and Heavy Life Pool with heavy regen to fuel high attack speed for long continous firing of skills. with Confusion / Horrify as crowd control, should you eend up in the bunch, and Spirit Walk to get away ( or getting there quick ).
My experiment with my own character ( 48.4K life, 1.2K Mana, 1.44 AS X 16.2K DPS at Paragon lvl 1 ) shown one can simply fire off the Haunt and Spirit Barrage continously for effect and the mana hardly even deplete at all, the choice of gear center around, high INT, High VIT, Life regen, Mana Regen, and resistance.
I've found this build to be so far effective up to infernal MP5 ( have not try any higher ) and the initial concept is to build a fire support for team playing and it made a great one at that.
his build is intentionally not fixed, allowing for some variation and flexibility, say when you find you needing more Mana, can switch the Haunt to use Draining spirit Rune. And if you find life lacking , can do the same there too. Mass Confusion with Devolution give you some Pet in the form of zombi dogs without needing to allocate a skill slot. Again this Build is one of those that I am experimenting for party play specific. Solo with this can be tough and one might want to take horrify or Mass Confusion off the build and instead use something like summoning or Acid Cloud/Acid Rain
Right now, my character had Mana regen at roughly short of 80 and life regen at 1.2K, this allow the chr to rush right up to the Melee range, and cast Mass confusion, then spirit walk away. And before that, your team Tank should already be there and my strategy is to spawn Haunt, then Spirit Barrage away. I am still experimenting with different Mana & Life regen vs attack speed. The motto is to use Soul Harvest as Buff, Haunt for DOT, and Spirit Barrage as the main attack. Keeping the Mana pool well stocked at all time so one can fire at will and as quick as the gear allow, while still allow for Spirit Walk / Horrify / Mass Confusion at any time. The Character on Bnet is not up to date, and I have not yet socket the Armor, weapon, and Mojo, wanting to see how it will do without all those.
Again, this is probably not going to work for fast ( or slow ) farming Solo unless you absolutely only do it at the very low MP or no MP. But its a great Party build.
Cheers, yes I realize this build is not likely to survive on high MP solo, but its never mean to be. I am trying to find a combination of team / party playing style to work with others. I've been playing with my friends and we have a team of 4 comprising of 1 Monk, 1 Barb, 1 Demon Hunter and me. This build is very much about doing the support part, right now am trying to find out a better formula to calculate how to sped spawn the Haunt / Spirit Barrage.
No offense my friend but I suggest you to first beat inferno and get known with the class before you decide to write guides about it.
Your build is only visually nice, other than that, completely useless unless you are at MP1, which I think you are, judging by your gear.
Thanks for the effort tho :8)

Link to build in Blizzard skill calc?
Something other than vague description of build?
