The equation for calculating the # of casts possible,
c =(m-r*t)/(a-r*t)
c =(800-25*2/3)/(86-25*2/3) = 11.3 casts
With 1.5 APS * 800 mana, I could still cast 11 zombie bears in a row w/o picking up any globes without any additional regen.
The Templar only increases it to 12.8 casts.
If Vision Quest on average gives me a total of 80 mps, then I could cast 22.85 casts.
11 Zombie bears seems sufficient to me, especially with bats thrown in and me running around kiting and picking up health globes.
what if it takes say 8-9 zombie bears to kill a small group in inferno? and then they all die and none drop a health globe, but then theres another pack of mobs coming for you? RUNNNN AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. lulz

The expression:
"I'd rather have a condom/gun and not need it, than need it and not have it."
comes to mind. If Inferno is as difficult as they say (and we hope), then I'd rather plan on the safer side when I don't know what will or won't work. But again, thats just me.

I will just run away and go get a soda as my mana regens. I might gain 100 lbs from drinking a soda every other pull though....But ya know, thats what life is, tradeoffs.

One is never hurt by being given additional choices, only by taking them away. A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
