so i know obviously the zombie dogs do damage, but how much? the gargantuan says 30% weapon dmg per swing... but the dogs don't say anything.. em i missing it somewhere? if you know how much please tell me/link please. thank you.
When playing the beta, the only time I ever saw the Zombie Dogs doing any damage worthwhile is when they were hitting a mob I outleveled by quite a bit (At lvl 1 hitting lvl 1 mobs, you don't even see a damage number appear, so I'm assuming they were doing less than 1). They probably withheld a % damage scaling # because the are meant to tank for you, not do damage. Or they could just be fine tuning the number and don't want to release it just yet.

thinking about it, having your spells be pretty strong and the gargantuan. having the dogs also do a lot of dmg would definitely make the WD over powered... (ilke i hope lol). but with the alabaster rune effect it says like 50% of the dmg they do is converted to life, and half heals you. and if there not even barley doing any dmg at all then that rune is 100% worthless. because other rune effects heal for huge ass amounts like the crimson rune on haunt 30% of all dmg it does (30% of 500% over 15 seconds and on up to 3 targets, with a good weapon this will = massive life regen). so i wonder how thats going to turn out.
That's why I think the indigo rune for the dogs will be so much better.

Come to think of it and looking at the crimson rune on dogs. 70% wpn damage at lvl 7 rune. To "nearby" enemies on 4 dogs could potentially make it a snooze fest. Your dogs destroying huge groups because enemies will overlap in the flames and you could just stand by and watch while everything dies. Maybe hitting 1 or 2 spells. Which would be awesome. I think the 70% dmg taken by dogs instead is also kind of worthless UNLESS your in PVP. which then it's amazingly over powered. Because if u have 5 pets tanking for u, you'll barley ever get hit by anything to begin with. So adding them damage would be far more useful in farming/questing

or if the dogs don't die much, light them on fire, lol
