Pretty much after the BiS pieces/stats for a Monk looking to do Torment 6 with his friends. I pretty much want survivability with the feeling that I contribute to some of the damage output as well as I'd like to be able to have this set be viable for when I choose to solo T6 myself. If i'ts easier to list a solo farming set of gear and then a second set for group play I'd very much appreciate that and any tips/comments.
I'm after exactly what set gear i need for solo and group play and exactly which item slot pieces. Also what off-pieces I need and what stat rolls I'm meant to go for majority. Lastly Weapons and gems on both armour and weapons.
and finally the skill build I'm meant to be using for both solo and group play. I like to work with the runes myself so just the skills in general would be much appreciated.
Currently running an old fire-monk build thats getting destroyed in T4 and above.
Hey, I was on the same boat since RoS was released, farm all the set items – Inna’s, swk, 1000 Storm, most head piece(GNK still eludes me though), weps, rimehear, SoH, TF etc... that should have made my monk handle T5-T6 fairly easily sadly playing him/her got me frustrated to let me decide to try other classes.
For the longest time, I was dabbling into WD, DH, Crusader– two classes that breezes thru T6 and occasionally my Zdps /Shatter Palm monk. But once I tried the SWK/FD/Holy Build theorycrafted by Quinsane, i immediately amped the difficulty from T4 to T6 with an un-optimized gears.
Check out the build that Quinsane(on the first page of this site, easy to spot) where he outline the gears needed, skills to use and passives. If you have the EoP, you can replace SW with CS and you are good to go on party more since BoH(heals the party), MoH improves yours and party mates survibability.
Unfortunately, I don’t have some of the gears that the build requires, such is madstone which hasn’t drop for me either so I have to go with what I have. Madstone does have an affix that applies EP on the surrounding mob making SS effective but most gears requirements are the same.
I just went and build around with what I have collected so far, which means I have to grind for better gears but important thing is my monk is relegated to support one and can diss out heavy damage/crowd control skills.
Glhf!!! Btw, if you need to add somebody to your fl, send me a request RazorX#2330(US server).
