That's the build I'm considering for leveling in normal.
I'm not sure which Rune to get on Dashing Strike, since I don't know how different/effective the Flying Side Kick and Soaring Skull Runes actually work,and if they'd give a better range or not. I might just go Quicksilver for the reduced cost.
Notice I left the required level at 30, so that it can be used even at the beginning of Nightmare. Some skills/runes are subject to change if need be. I'm really only taking Exploding Palm for the cool factor.
I'm not sure if I should get the 15% dodge for dual-wielding passive or not, as I am uncertain whether I will use a 2hander or dualwield. We'll see...
Eh i dunno, im not a huge fan of crippling wave. It does nice aoe but for single target Hundred fists wins everyday. In the harder difficulties you will need to be focusing alot more on single target > aoe. Gotta take out champions fast and not to mention the enrages on bosses.
Serenity will be nice, im honestly a huge fan of Breath of Heaven with the damage bonus rune. Shorter CD with the heal. If you have fast enough reflexes you can avoid most damage anways.
Dashing strike really will be only good for the fact that it ports you behind your target. Fists of thunder can do the same thing basically with the teleporting rune, it just doesnt go right behind the target.
Well I use Dashing Strike because I don't want to be forced to get Fists of Thunder+Thunderclap.
And I've found that Crippling+Mangle is just amazing. Just as good as Hundred Fists, and it's aoe. For damage on single target, as well as to decimate mobs, I use Exploding Palm. No mob survives after a couple Crippling/Exploding.
And yeah, Serenity is amazing. Probably one of my favorite skills now. I think the boss of Act II would have been impossible without it... I shudder to attempt it on any other class now xD
