So I have a question for you, it sounds kinda obvious but Im asking to be sure. How do you intend to use this build ? With a bit of info on how you want to use your build we will be able to help.
That build was crap. I had just figured out about the the d3 calculator. I don't like that build, it may have a chance if I had the combination strike passive but here check this build out its much more promising.
I will only use sweeping wind as the generator at this point I don't know if I will stick to the golden runestone because the alabaster and crimson are good also. While I have the sweeping wind on I'll use a combo of cyclone strike and lashing tail kick. The way I have those two offensive skills set they cost less (64+30 spirit) than a single wave of light (100 spirit). What do you think? Am I trying to make a hammerdin?
I think the combination of sweeping wind + cyclone strike + hand of ytar (lashing tail kick) will dish out good AOE damage.
Mantra of evasion will be important because you need to dodge as a monk with your low vitality or defense.
Serenity + inner sanctuary will be my healing spells because they are cheap and serenity. Inner sanctuary looks like a fun micro intensive skill and gives me time to think while healing, I'll have fun using inner sanctuary. Serenity will get rid of any effects and with a crimson rune stone it will full heal you every minute.
The passive skills are just a thought but I like how they are now. I think I will be going with a shield and 1H weapon for this build. The shield should help with more armor and block%.
The build you have there is like the monk version of a friend of mines " blender barb" build. pulling the enemies and doing damage. The only thing i could see going wrong is getting yourself up to speed, sweeping winds with the lower duration may be a pain to keep at its max, however you mentioned switching it for alabaster. If your having a problem keeping sweeping winds at maximum power switching the rune out could fix it. however it could also hurt your spirit regeneration.
Thats just what I see. Im sure I could be missing something.
I think as long as I don't use any other generators I don't see why keeping it at max would be that much of a pain but I consider spirit regeneration the biggest issue. I will try to use gear stats to fill in the gaps or who knows, we might all just opt to create a build around awesome gear that we find. To solve the issue of keeping up sweeping wind I'll have to use a faster weapon which isn't a problem because I'll probably be using a fist weapon, sword or mace (rarely and specifically for heavily armored foe).

Im sorry i poorly explained myself. Between fight when the buff from the 3rd strike fades , getting that 3rd strike buff back to full power may be a challenge , or may not I dont 100% know. It is a short enough amount of time that it could not be worth worrying about.
