I noticed a lot of people leave life regen on chest, pants and boots for uliana and innas as well. What's the deal??? I don't see any life regen skills at all.
You need some way to get life back - and that's it. The reason why you have life regen on those pieces is exactly because you don't have any room for life regen skills. So the lack of skills explains the presence of the stats on gear.
Michael said yesterday that he even sees "life on kill" on at least one weapon as mandatory for sustain. Especially for U6 it probably works well, as you can also see in his videos.

Hmmm.. wouldn't 250+ all res be better, as well as life per hit on bracers for example?
20k life per sec is like nothing when you have 800k life. 40 seconds to recover to full life. So i doubt it can save from one-shots.

Has nothing to do with one shots. Nothing can help you with one shots (except you HP pool). It's all about recovery.
Monks prefer secondary ressists on gear for harmony passive so all resist is not better overall.
