Hmmmm I can see the rave of Marauder Set bonuses. Have been away from the forum for quite awhile and everything's changed so much. Anyway back to discussion:
1. Have tried using my Kridershot, the damage wasn't as fancy as a 2hd Xbow like Buriza / Manticore etc. And probably because the fact that 3 Hatred Spenders are currently glitched, it's hard to combine Kridershot into a build that actually excels.
2. I see loads of physical DH around with Marauder Builds. Just a question, with my current set up at http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Cubes-6523/hero/2327980, with Fire % Damage as base, does it actually outputs better then physical DH? I know I will lose out in the fact that Physical Builds allow pets to deal much higher damage, but playing Cindercoat allow myself to nuke with CA - LFB while placing my sentries.
Still finding ways to enhance my DH. Any tips peeps? :>
Got a Krider I'm toying with the idea of using with 6-set Marauders, but I'd need a very good quiver to trump my current 2x1handers - Natalya's Slayer (Plus Nat helm for 2 and 3 set bonus from my RoRG), and Calamity. What's the benefit of using a 2hander over 2x1handers specifically with 6set Marauders?
In terms of skill useage, I'm transitioning from a Fire build to a Lightning build now I have my 6set Marauders, as I feel like Dazzling Arrow shooting all over the place from multiple Sentries is just too good in terms of the survivability it offers. Yes, it does less raw damage than my fire build used to do, but I can happily trot through T5 and T6 without dying nearly as much as before, because mobs just don't get chance to kill me thanks to the stunlock. Am I silly to think it's so good?
I found a Kridershot recently (after reroll, it is 3% below max dps) and compared it with my Manticore (also good damage roll) on Ghom T6. With Manticore it took around 30 seconds to kill him, while with Krider it took me around 39 seconds (did a few tests each, results were always quite close to each other). The only thing I changed with using Krider is that I swapped out Entangling Shot (the 6 hatred rune) with Ele Arrow (Screaming Skull).
Results might change a bit when attacking packs of mobs (cause of AoE of Ele Arrow vs ST of Entangling), but I don't think it will make up for the lower damage output in general, so i'd still use a 2H Xbow over a Kridershot anytime.
