Just recently came back to D3 a couple weeks ago, and hit 70 a little over a week ago. I have had some decent luck with drops, and been able to clear T2 with little to no difficulty. So far gambling has been just awful, but that's ok one these days something will drop. With some of the legendary drops I haven't been able to enchant stats due to using most of my legendary drops and never getting forgotten souls... I appreciate the feedback and look forward to progressing into t3 soon.

I actually have a better ring that isn't showing equipped. I have been trying to upgrade my chest/amulet first from gambling.

I'm a physical M6 DH,
A few questions to the DH veterans,

1) how does Hexing pants fare against T&T, should i focus on getting a T&T or its not a great upgrade so i could focus on other pieces first?
2) I'm currently chasing a bombardier's rucksack, physical SoJ, & T&T (in that order), is this the correct direction for gearing? and also if RNGsus allows, a dex RoRG (1k frag and i don't see a single ring).

Well I just started playing again a few days ago and hit 70. I've been grinding T1 for a while now but I'm feeling like I'm not building myself right. I've usually just gone by what my gear has, but my gear is everywhere right now. I've heard that the bombadier's quiver is one of the best and lucked out with getting one. But sentry play is so slow for me and kinda boring, but is this how I should be going?

There is my profile. The templar is who I run with when I solo. When I play with my friend's WD I will usually change up my skills to do as much damage as possible while boosting his as well so that we can just burn through the enemies. Where should I concentrate my upgrades?

Can I ask how this thread works please , being new here . I see that we have to post help threads here , but all I see is people asking for help with 0 replies . It seems like no one visits this thread except to be redirected here if you post a help thread in the DH forum .

As you have your RoRg I'd get your T&T's (good luck) and swap to Mara Pants. Also, if you're not married to sentry's, I'd drop the chest for the Garwulf's...

Also, I'd swap to this site as it's way better for looking at your build/stats.

Just looking at your stats vs mine, your resists are lower, and that may be part of it, yet your armors higher. I always value resists over armor, and I feel mine are way too low. That said I walk through t3 like warm butter mostly.. that said, I think you just need a little better gear.

As for your build, I'm not sure, someone else may need to look at that. I prefer physical to fire, but your stats are good.

When you say T2, is that solo or group?

Well, you're not real clear on why you feel like you're struggling. Looking at your stats I feel you should be doing enough damage, you're comparable to me, real close, so I'm guessing you're getting stepped on occasionally? If so, that's mobility or resists. If it's mobility, rethink your build, if it's just that you fall over with a hit, it's resists. My opinion, and it's reflected in my build, is to not be there when the hit comes, but it helps to survive the occasional hit while you're getting out of Dodge, so to speak.

I do have a Garwulf in my stash, it rolled quite badly tho, don't think i'll consider one until i get a better rolled version.
I'm still stuck in bombardier's gamble, 10k and counting, hopefully i can get it and focus on gloves.

My immediate response would be Critical Damage but I don't use sentries and cool down is a big factor there no?

Your page shows 37% over 274 damage, that's kinda low for CHD but I can't see any modifiers. Conventional wisdom would be 37% over 370ish CDH.

Yeah I know that I'm short on CHD but that will change when I reroll my neck (on which I already spent millions just to get miserable 71%...) and reroll TnT (the question is which stat to reroll)

This is based on my characters stats, but for me , it makes it a lot clearer where my best chance is to increase damage. 100 Dex gives 13,000+ dps but 10% crit chance gives 160,000+ dps...better even than CHD at 21000 for 10%.

• 1.00% +Physical Skills Damage gives you 9,419.73 dps
• 1.00% Critical Hit Chance gives you 16,548.06 dps
• 1.00% Critical Damage gives you 2,188.77 dps

So, unless your CHC is maxed up the wazoo and you can't increase it, that may be where you want to look first.

Yeah I already checked that on my Diabloprogress profile but the question is how much does AS improve Sentry's DPS and is it worth taking it over CDR on my TnT.

Not seen any hard numbers on players IAS upping sentry damage, I've heard it does by increasing the sentry damage, not the sentries speed, but again not "retained" any hard numbers. I guess the good ole Ghom test would work but you'd want to try on throw away pieces I'm guessing. To see atleast the corollary on which appears stronger.Can you swap a piece with one vs the other and retain your sentries?

I ( and I don't use sentries so total guess) would go for CHD on the AS slot as you can see from your profile that CHD is a far greater increase in damage. I would guess it'd be a far greater increase in sentry damage too?

First thing for you is to get 6p mara bonus so farm rifts and spend all shards on pants and feet (pants first because those swamp land waders looks awful on dh). Second I would look for some good (over 2,5k dmg) 2h xbow till then you can keep your 1h+quiver but you can swap quiver for another 1h if you see upgrade in dmg. Another thing is your toughness you should roll life% on shoulders and maybe throw in some vit gems instead of emeralds if you feel your survi is still too low. The next thing is that you should change preparation to wolf companion since wolf gives you 20% dmg increase on almost every elite/champion pack and as you have 4p mara bonus you also get 10% movement and 10% all res. Also you should change cull the weak for ambush because its just brilliant for hard hitting CA fire as well as 6p mara sentry build. You should also look for some +fire dmg neck.

Yeah i guess I will reroll AS to CHD as I feel it is not as beneficial as CDR.
