Now regenerates 2% of maximum life per second (up from 1%)
Rapid Fire? A whopping 310 life/sec on a boar pet? 2% Life on sentries and Brooding is good if you use those.
We need a resist fix (a la Monk's "One With Everything", et al) and they're overdue to look at Disc regen again (Nat's legacy RIP- they said they would "revisit" disc regen after Paragon came out).
Like everyone I'll give RF a good looking over (the version that makes Live).

I was one of those players that label Rapid Fire buffs as nice but not usefull, i was proven wrong on how Bombardment worked so well as an aoe tool to keep up my Discipline.
At the moment, i'm still playing Bola Stun, Echoing Blast in solo play, but i will use RF Bombardment in multiplayer if i don't have a CM Wizard. The Hatred spent is also very low if you use Bat Companion.
Overall, quite a good buff. but Demon Hunters need some more love to be efficient as other classes.
I switched from Echoing Blasts to Bombardment. I find that bombardment works quite well on stationary builds, and its definitely more damage. So Im basically using the same skill setup with that change, feels good to have to handle hatred again.
PLUS, I dont know you guys but I get the feeling im melting down a mob... I guess thats what channeling does.
For Rapid Fire to work with Shadow Power / Gloom, you need to begin casting Rapid Fire while under effect of Shadow Power.
If you start casting Rapid Fire before having Shadow Power/Gloom up, you will only have the Gloom's reduced damage taken but not have the life steal.
Also, you can use Shadow Power then start casting Rapid Fire and when Shadow Power ends, you will still have the life steal but not the reduced damage taken of Gloom. (Might be wrong, not entirely sure, didn't pay much attention to it.)
Rapid Fire takes snapshot of what you had while starting the cast and does not update it when you get some new buff or lose an existing one. Needs to be addressed and changed in both ways (there is a negative effect and a positive effect to how rapid fire works.) Hope someone brings that up in blizzard forums. I can't really follow those forums so I better not.
(Other abilities like Hungering Arrow also take snapshots of your buffs but these snapshots refresh everytime you send out and arrow so you can use Shadow Power while casting hungering Arrow. Rapid Fire counts as 1 "arrow" even if you cast for 5minutes without stopping.)
