I called it a determining feature because of the emphasis the creators were putting on it. Sexy, high heels and what not. Did a massive facepalm when Jay Wilson said she was hot in that excited voice coupled with the grin on his face. I guess the comments on youtube saying 'WTF dude, get laid' were only to naturally follow .
It was just as easy to imagine the developers jacking off to DH models instead of working on the game. They seemed like a bunch of pubescent teens who simply couldn't contain themselves.
I think the char's theme is that of an obsessed, dark and revengeful bitch. And I do see it as fitting in the diablo world.
I just disagree with the way she was presented. Lame and pathetic I called it and will still call it. No class at all.
And I'm certainly not questioning the need for visual appeal for game chars either.
whats the big deal with all these sexiness stuff, as long as the DH kick ass i'm happy. im a girl and i wouldn't mind if the male DH isn't good looking or stuff like that because i don't play as male characters in games.
besides, the male wizzard is already really good looking
They should just make him look like Johnny Depp, problem solved.
All the female demons would fight for him, it'd be great! lol. Really though, I couldn't care what he looks like.. Mostly because I'll be playing a Barb :whistling:, and to me the barb looks awesome. Plus this is all based off opinion anyway, most of what there is left to talk about is all opinion~
Let the opinionated discussions commence!
... he better have some sort of scruffy facial hair or I'm going to be so mad.
While we are still waiting for Blizzard to announce the male Demon Hunter (or rather: the looks of him), I think - by the silhoutte - that he will be wearing a scarf of sorts or something similar, hiding the lower part of his face, like the female demon hunter in the concept art.
But really, its not like it hasn't been the case that women in past Diablo games haven't been attractive, and it at least works with a ranged class. Apparently even the female Barb has gotten more attractive (or something like that), but look back at the Rogue, Sorceress, Amazon and Assassin. In the end, I think that each look we've seen at least works from the game angle, which is where you see them the most. Hell, there were even complaints about the Necromancer's look when he was first announced.
Technically, all of our characters should be have a huge mess of scars, but that would just be kinda weird.
