You're way more geared than I am, and I cleared a 75 last night. I think the issue is your gems. You need Bane of the Trapped and not esoteric alteration. Bane of the Trapped in combination with something to slow the enemies is a *massive* amount of damage.
The other thing that you're missing is %fire on your neck. Since %fire is applies after everything else, it's insanely valuable.. almost as valuable as the bane of the trapped bonus (also applied after everything)
I agree completely with Innominate, swap Esoteric Alteration with a Bane of the trapped, and you will see a huuge difference in your DPS..
Also, you have resist gems in both Chest and legs, change that into dex gems also, and remember that you are a glass canon type of character, especially with this build here, so everywhere its about getting more DPS and more DPS, surviveability is secondary..
If you still struggle with surviving, then swap the Cindercoat in cube with a Visage of Gunes, that will help a lot for sure.
I don't get it, the last couple of seasons I've been focused on DH and Monk, and I never had any issues getting to GR75..
This season I have been focused on my Barbarian, but I also have a DH that I use to farm gold and boost friends and randoms from channel..
I just checked him from my acc side, and can see that I fx have 2xCoE and there are some other things I should change, before I can go to GR75, but I get back home Friday/Saturday, and I will do some changes and see if I can't give you a better answer to what you should consider changing to do the same..
But from the top of my head, I can see that your CC is a bit low and so is your CHD - Theese 2 are your primary damage increases
Another thing, I can see that you are missing quite some CDR, that will solve your Hatred problem for sure..
You need 3 items with CDR (I believe the exact number from items must be at least 22% CDR), that will help you with 100% uptime on Vengeance - Which again will give you alot increased damage from both Rockets and 40% increase of damage in generel.
There might be other things you can focus on, but for now if you try to change these 3 points, I am sure you will be able to go to GR75 with sucess
lopud, after looking at your character, here are my comments:
1) Swap Cindercoat with Visage of Gunes for better toughness and survivability.
2) Your Vitality is quite high. I only have 700K+ life and I have no issues surviving GR76 without Awareness passive hence I suggest you set your Passive skills to:
a) Steady Aim
c) Thrill of Hunt
d) Cull the Weak
I see that your Hellfire Amulet carries Perfectionist as the 5th Passive. I wouldn't use that if I were you. Try and craft another which carries any of the above (best if you can find one with b-e so that you can swap out Steady Aim with Awareness if you really find survivability an issue at higher GRs).
3) You need to find ways to improve your CDR (your current is 19.50%. You'll need 30+% to maintain Vengeance most of the time). This is why you are feeling the lack of Hatred, as the lack of Vengeance will also slow down your generators. Pontential CDRs are available on gloves, quivers - another 6-8% each.
+1 to Kokwei's post. Do all those things but would just worry about one more piece of gear (besides your shoulders) with CDR.
It looks like you got close to GR75 and then started breaking stuff on your build to try to push a little further. We could talk all day about ways to improve things on your build, but if you are just trying to get your last conquest for the season then roll Vit to CDR on your quiver and change your passives (Ambush, Ballistics, Cull, Thrill, Steady). It's a nice hellfire for farming, but switch to a decent one with one of those passives.
If you have a helm with both CC and MS% then switch to that one. LOH is going to serve you much better than high Vit.
Next season don't settle for ancients with low discipline on them.
Find a GR75 with slow moving monsters and kill everything from max range- get a decent RG and you should smash it (Your templar is going to just stand there and watch). Good Luck.
Hi Lopud, I took a look at your profile, and tried to compare with my own stats. We run same build and same equip (except nemesis/wraps of clarity) Overall your character seems better in all stats more dmg, recovery and toughness (2000 more dex, 50% more chd, 8% more chc), but I managed to clear a Grift 78 with around 1 min to spare.
I think the difference lies in your missing % fire skill dmg? And I focused on AD instead of CDR. Did you manage to push further than 75?
