I need someone with a good knowledge of game mechanics to give me some advice for an ancient Yangs:
Either 3 points of discipline since it rolled 9 and max roll is 12 (pretty big deal due to UE running a 40% Inc in dmg per disc point, potentially leading up to a 120% increase? Additive/Multiplicative unsure)
Or 10% CD-R?
This is assuming all other lines are perfect and there is a socket slot
If you haven't yet reached perma vengeance, I'll opt for 10%CDR, as 120% increase is additive. If you have 90 discipline, 3 more represents just 3% increase in DPS. You may get much more increase in DPS by trading CDR for area damage, for example.

You don't want CDR on your weapon. Even though it rolls to 10% it doesn't help over another slot because you will still need 2 other slot.
This the way the list works. You want the first 4 for a good weapon. If the weapon doesn't have one of the first 4 roll for it to be added. RCR is always there and cannot be rerolled but you can add. Don't do that.
What it comes down to is you will either have Vit or Area Damage as your last priority. You want AD but the other stats are more important. If you don't have max discipline the weapon is garbage. But increasing weapon damage is more important than increasing Max Discipline from a lower roll.
Weapon damage is what all your other bonuses multiply. You want something close to 3400 dps without IAS.
Is the list above my post still up to date? Because of the topaz in helmet, wouldn't AD climb up the order? Or does this not make sense as you need to gear CDR when not using a diamond in helmet? How much RCR is needed?
/edit: Ok, could answer the question by myself, thanks to Yang's no more RCR is needed, 2 CDR rolls on gear (typically shoulders + OH) + diamond in helmet + paragon are enough together with cubed Dawn for almost perma Vengeance (~1sec downtime). A third CDR roll would nullify the CD completely, but it seems people prefer damage stats over that (?). For me, with my Cru experience, it makes more sense to nullify the CD and use also CDR on the gloves. You then have a range of 1~2 CDR with input lag, so the rolls don't have to be perfect.

i think the priority will be...
1 - discipline
2 - base dmg
3 - dmg %
than what is needed, good RCR, AD, ViT, CDR(but this ussualy come from gloves, ring, quiver, shouldrs).
AS, not really needded, the bow already brings 50% for multishot, + paragon points.

Base Damage
Max Discipline
RCR
Bonus % damage
