Hello fellas, I recently put together a UE fire guide (yes I know there's a crap ton of these out there) after finding myself quite addicted to the leaderboards. I include in there things to look out for, general playstyle help, and more jazz!
When cubing Cİndercoat, unfortunately we do not benefit the elemental damage increase but only the cost reduction. Which makes me wonder why isn't anyone preferring Pride's Fall, since it will also reduce disc skill costs. I'm excessively using caltrops/BtT and SS/D and its help is noticable.
If I were to create a build I would tag Pride's Fall as recommended and Cindercoat as adequate for the armor cube slot

For me I think of it this way, I have Invigoration and UE 2-piece to regen discipline and I find it inevitable to not get hit at least once every couple seconds when trying to herd mobs, either with Vault or not, which voids the Pride's Fall effect. I also don't run Caltrops so that may be a huge reason why disc hasn't been a problem for me yet.
If you can manage to not get hit at all, it's 100% viable.
Even without caltrops, I find myself spamming displacement a lot -either to avoid shit or covering distances in-between faster- and spending less disc is an indirect dps gain since you are preserving your disc pool for 6pc bonus.
We already should be keeping away from close contact as much as we can for steady aim and 4pc bonus anyway, so Pride's Fall won't add any extra hassle to gameplay. It is not that big deal to keep it up. And dropping the buff is not as punishing as shooting idle with hexing pants

I'd say just try it..
surely^_^, i'm up to try anything at this point haha
1) My generator is Entangling Shot/Justice is Served (negates need to run iceblink so can run BotS and has synergy with my ancient Star of Az making me immune to reflect)
2) I run Steady Aim over Ambush but I am unsure which is better. If I had a suitable GG Hellfire I'd run both.
3) I run Caltrops not Smokescreen (ps as it also has a slow effect it further negates the need for Iceblink -it is also cheap so I spam it frequently, normally vault into mob, drop it, vault back and drop it again then start spamming generator/spender)
4) Sometimes, just for the hell of it I run Witching Hour and cube Hunters Wrath. When I do that I feel rcr on Shoulders is essential. I should probably try and get it somewhere else as well, maybe on one of the rings (Crit Chance; Crit Damage and RCR would be the dream).
In a group, if someone else is running Calamity I change my cubed weapon to Odyssys End as that has synergy with Entangling Shot and also offers a party favor (albeit not as good as Calamity). In party, I'd probably be better off dropping Caltrops for MFD as it would also be better for the party overall, and stacks with Calamity.
While I like Evasive Fire/Iceblink I loose so much killing power on the RG without BotS that I just don't think it is worth the loss, unless maybe when in a party with other members running Stricken also.
Cindercoat over Pride's Fall comes down to that 5 second caveat. Cindercoat requires a fire build which is optimal any way over any other UE build with Yangs. Trail of Cinders is good for procing the Calamity affix. Tumble would benefit over ToC but that ground effect is very useful.
You are going to get hit as DH. So right when you need the added RCR it won't be available, you will just die waiting on that 5 Seconds. I take the full time proc and there is little loss of Discipline. I think I recover the cost of it in less than a second if I only vault once. I find it really hard to run out of Discipline and preparation is always off cool down if I get into a situation where I have to vault a crazy amount of times.
I don't like Iceblink either. So I cube a Kridershot and use Frost Arrow. You have to use Bat Companion over Wolf but it is way more effective in dense Grifts than Evasive Fire. And I get to use Stricken. I just completed GR 55. I went back to EV Focus as a test. Yeah you get to use Wolf but the cool down on it didn't seem to help most of the time. I think the Calmity and Kridershot builds are very similar in damage. You get marked for death with one build and more slows with the other.
There is definitely a lot of variants now with the cube up and running, which is great.
The EA/cubed Kridershot setup is one that has gotten my interest (also I love that freezing sound, it's almost as satisfying as Monk EP explosion). The whole part where EA slows more targets, hits harder, and takes more advantage of the ice CoE prior to the fire should more or less offset the 20% from MfD (there's def more room for math here lol). Now my main problem with it is I can't stand the slower shooting speed with it now that I've gotten so used to HW lol.

I'm not the best player out there nor do I claim to be, but I do think I know a thing or 2 about DH's by now haha.
Feel free to add me @ timoseewho#1824 if you want me to help you with your enchants and what not.

Nice guide first of all.
