What the title says. Would you Cube a poor Kridershot when 2.3 launches and use an Ancient Barb for the damage boost? At least until something better comes along. I'm not sure because Kridershot seems so hard to get.
why would u want to cube krider? thats just a waste u can cube much better stuff and like others said try roll the krider to ancient instead... and if u gonna use 2h crossbow using the kriders skill feels too slow it fits better bows not slow crossbows..
It can take a couple of hours to complete all 25 bounties. Unless you already have the crafted item you want to use, you might want to craft one now for the crafted legendaries no longer use Forgotten Souls, but the items from the caches (the two bows each use one from Act 2 and Act 5 per craft).
What I would do is upgrade a few rares to a legendary and see what you get that way and make your decision based on that. At the very least you will get some Forgotten Souls towards rerolling your Krindershot.
Extract it, reforge it, throw it away, w/e. Once patch hits Krider builds are dead and you'll want Yang's with cubed Calamity. If you stockpiled mats then you can craft a ton of yellow bows and upgrade them with the cube to try to get ancient Yang's and you'll get tons of Kriders while you're at it.
If you take a couple of hours to complete the 25 bounties, you're playing on a difficulty that is too high for you. It should take you around an hour at best.
Could be just because of the PTR being laggy for my judgement then. For I rarely do more then one act currently.

yeah true but many dont even play with multi so its kinda useless bow for them.

Multishot is pretty much the only build in 2.3 because of how strong Yang's is and DML moving to nonseason.
I think the real point would be cubing a rider, and using a uskang for the slow ball build... not sure how much stronger it will be, but it's an overall increase over the current top build. Could even Yang/DML/Krider combos since UE still buffs EA when it's Kridered.
Depending on the meta, there are usually 2 DH's... so both going Calam is pointless. I've heard rumblings of a Hungering Arrow build emerging, but when I tried testing it, it fell flat, very flat. We'll see how this shake out after Tuesday.

Currently HA build discussions revolves completely around having the cube and Only actual weapon option is Calamity. However with the new meta in GR going away from GR boss and more on mobs clearing, AoE skills have a definite advantage - MS builds will be likely better than HA, it all depends on how much of a difference exists.

Thanks in advance.
or keep it and reroll
Good idea, but kind of high Material cost. I'll have to see how fast the Bounties go next week. Thanks.

Forgotten Souls really becomes a non-issue if you start to hit GRift 40+

We will all run out of "breath" for sure..

no bad item is bad item for cube , cube takes the top value of the item so a bad item becomes a good item
