I am not interested in leaderboards, builds confuse me, and I stay away from seasons (again for confusion with leaderboards) all I am interested in is survivability and DPS.
I was pushed onto UE build, even though the boost to DPS I can't really see (would prefer if it was on sheet, I am horrible at math)
I may do solo again but maybe not for long (will be eager to test out new torment levels) but I am wondering if this new patch will/could help me in anyway? In addition could anyone recommend possibly a new bow or crossbow.
I have been looking for a Better Krider for a while, (even though Kadala gave me this current one) and have heard that I should try looking for a new dead mans legacy because of inbuilt multi shot bonus.
I am excited about the new level and the cube (this might finally be the reason I have been looking for to get me to play Diablo again) I remember the old horadric cube, but never used it much and don't know how this new one might help me, with my current DH build
you sound like a very lost soul, few things about your build:
weapon: really need disc on this, if you're not playing lightning build (which is played in high gr groups), there's really no reason for you to use this over another bow with disc/damage% unless this is all you have. in the future, if you get a well-rolled weapon without damage% and disc, you want to roll disc on it as it nets you more overall dps though i know how tempting it is to make your sheet dps and weapon # look higher. unless you're pushing for gr55+ in groups, there's really no reason for you to invest in a Kridershot setup, these days people are just so hung up on finding one since it's so rare and forget the whole reason behind having 1
restraint: vit->cd/cc (whichever you're really lacking, try to keep a 10:1 cd:cc ratio and use points to balance it)
neck: damage->cc
gem: use BotT instead of WoL
skills: use Invigoration instead of Punishment (free 15 disc, how could you not!)
i'm not really sure what the best quiver is for ns, i'm assuming just one with the best stats. the good news is that there are a lot of things you can easily change to up your dps right this moment^^
Thank you so much for the advice, now the hard part is implementing it
The only reason I have Punishment is my build is very hatred heavy, even with all the RCR i have, I know I need the added disc but if I don't have hatred I can't use this build, put it this way, I was using M6 before and still hate that I am back to doing things for myself again. True I am a demon hunter but I am either waiting for someone to suggest another impossible build (which by the time I finally get it/find it, another awesome one has suggested) or get nerfed in a future patch.
In groups I am just trying to survive/do my part to help and if I don't have hatred/can't shoot then I die quick, and I am always lagging behind because I am constantly picking up stuff, to hopefully re roll the stuff I do have, to hopefully get better stuff (endless pain in the ass)
I don't understand what you mean by 10:1 (whichever you're really lacking, try to keep a 10:1 cd:cc ratio and use points to balance it) I only just found out that you don't have to max out movement speed with paragon points (apparently it doesn't go higher than 25% that's what I heard) and I am using my newly acquired paragon points to hopefully continue to add to CHC,CHD, And Dex in the hope of upping my DPS. What should it be at?
I can assure you I was only using Lightning because I thought it was giving me some form of extra DPS, guess not I'll change it
Other than that I am still sorting through crap in my stash because I have no idea what is good or not, and really only keep items that either a: people tell me or b: if they are all Damage,Toughness and Recovery all positive green percentages, I don't understand it any other way
I am not a noob, it's just all that information flies by my head
Lost soul is an understatement, I wish it wasn't but that's the way it is
I hope to have some success with the new patch, I really need it (needed a reason to start playing again anyway, was getting bored of constantly farming and finding crap, or getting shit from Kadala)
Thank you so much for the advice, now the hard part is implementing it

well, i hate to say this, but you're playing the build that a huge majority of DH's are playing, pretty cookie cutter stuff, and i can almost guarantee you that a huge chunk of them are running Invigoration, it's really a no brainer. i think you really need to practice playing without it since you're really killing your damage that way. i'll let the fact that you have Bat instead of Wolf slide as that's not as big a deal, but keep in mind Wolf also helps you tank to some extent
i don't even know what to say about you falling behind in groups picking stuff up, you have to figure out the things you should pick up and not (if you still need to craft a weapon, sure pick up whites, if not, don't, if you still need to craft a Reaper's Wraps, grab the blues, if not, don't, same goes for gems)
about the 10:1, it's widely accepted that for example, if you have 300cd, you should also aim for 30cc, keeping a nice balance, instead of 500cd and 15cc (so use your paragon points to play around it to maintain close to 10:1). you are correct about movement speed, it caps at 25%, including your feet, so it seems that you have 12% on your feet, so you just need another 13% from points, which is 26 clicks
as a DH, toughness is not something that should concern you, a lot of the abilities in this game is avoidable (there's always that occasional 1 shot jailer, but that's rare). recovery is nice, but not necessary as well, as a DH, your job is to provide the hurt
you can either sit around and wait for changes to come in 2 months or try to learn the current meta and enjoy the game for 2 months lol

If you aren't using Elemental Arrow with your Kridershot you aren't doing something right. Either equip another weapon, I would craft an unbound bolt for Critical Hit Damage or use EA. I have similar equipment on my build http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/CrayZ-1430/hero/60254481. I'm using EA Frost Arrow for Crowd Control and Chilling. For Groups you can use Immolation Arrow if somebody is Crowd Controlling for you. You should definitely get rid of WoL. It doesn't work well for Ranged classes. Use Zei's Stone of Vengeance. Regarding Hatred, you don't need that much if you use EA Frost Arrow. Frost Arrow does a lot of damage because it can hit up to 11 targets. So, each cast can easily do Billions of damage if you can increase your Crits to something like 50%CHC/450%CHD. With crits my Frost Arrows hit multiple targets each for upwards for 400M damage. That is a lot of DPS. EV:Focus will add a lot of Hatred for sure, but it will only do damage in the millions. For non-seasonal, because you don't have access yet to DML with the new double hit affix, EA is as strong as Multishot. So I tend to think you are over using MS. You have 5 seconds between your alternating between Spenders and Generators with Focus and Restraint. You should experiment with Frost Arrow. Fire 3 casts of Frost Arrow then a Multishot. This should keep F/R bonuses up and generate enough hatred so that you can switch Preparation Punishment over to Invigoration. Picking up Health Globes (using Reaper's Wraps) and Bat Companion should be enough.
For my Group build, I do switch over to Immolation Arrow if the group can Crowd Control. If you find you need more Hatred get rid of Vengeance Seethe with Groups and use Marked for Death Mortal Enemy. Mortal Enemy will generate Hatred for each attack on the Marked target. The Fire will continue to attack from the ground and give you a lot of Hatred. So mark all the Elites, you will get a lot of Hatred and a lot of bonus damage. The bonus damage will get applied to for the entire group. Vengeance is really good, but the 90 second cool down pretty much limits it to using it very early in a Grift and during the boss fight.
BTW my profile may not be right, I've been going with an XP build lately as an experiment. So you might see a Hellfire Ring, Ring of Royal Granduer and a Leoric Crown equipped. I don't wear this stuff usually. I normally wear F/R with 6%CHC/50%CHD on both rings. As I've said, I'm testing a few things out. Right now I can easily do Tier 37 without F/R. I haven't test higher yet to see the limit. I just want to see what I can do without the ring set. I end up playing some public game at Grifts a lot lower than I can do Solo, so I'd like to make up some of that with some XP bonus gear. If were pushing F/R always in play.

New cube means, u can use new Dead Man's Legacy (currently season only i believe) and meticulous bolt, with Kridershot.
but Proly not the way to go since off hand uses "Weapon" slot for cube.
or You can use any other crossbow or hand crossbow or anything better stats in conjunction with Kridershot affix extracted with Cube
Hand cross bow + krider affix + meticulous bolt would be fun with fast 1Hxbow.
Calamity maybe
