Anzy#1949 is my bnet name and my guys name is tin can. I've hit a brick wall in knowing what to upgrade and what to get rid of. Any and all help is very much appreciated.
The purpose of 56% cdr is to have Akarat's Champion up 100% of the time. Leoric's Crown helps a lot with that as you can essentially get free 12.5% cdr if you get one near 100% effect. To use Leoric's, however, puts you at 5 pieces of Akkhan's. Therefore, you will need a Ring of Royal Grandeur which you get from the bounty cache from Act 1 bounties. To get one with the right stats will require a lot of bounties. Those will keep you busy for a while.
While you are getting those, keep an eye out for several other pieces:
Sword Blade of Prophecy
Shield Unrelenting Phalanx
Mace The Furnace
Shield Hellskull
Since you are using Falling Sword, Cam's Rebuttal. Falling Sword is not that great of a skill, but if it's the play style you enjoy, that sword should make it even more fun.
There are others. It all depends on your goals. The three most popular builds for Crusader at the moment are Condemn, Stampede and zDPS. Feel free to search on any of those. Check the videos to see if any look interesting to you and then learning the necessary gear should be easy enough.
If you'd rather just use the skills you enjoy, then my above recommendations about cdr are all I can really say. You might consider the Prophet rune on Akarat's Champion to give you a life save and push harder content for more drops.
Here is a site to let you calculate the cdr and the affect it has on skill cooldowns. http://bannedofgamers.com/index.php?cdr/
Here is a site that will help you find slots that have those stats, even pointing out rare pieces (Vigilante Belt with cdr) http://www.d3maxstats.com/

Also, this guide is for a Lightning Hammerdin http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-class-forums/crusader-the-church-of-zakarum/83427-lightning-hammerdin-for-those-who-want-to-destroy. He only recommends it for Torment 1-4. Your build is very reminiscent of his. It might have been the inspiration for yours, I don't know. In any event, he says that Schaefer's Hammer is the best in slot weapon for the build.
