Today I show the gear progression for a T2 lightning Blessed Hammer crusader build. It's a bit shorter because the build hasn't changed, so I urge you to watch the T1 video for explanation of skills/runes/passives. T1 to T2 progression is mainly a gear check. Enjoy!
Yes it does Kentos, because it's basically a gimped version of my lightning crusader. It's nice to have a gameplay video, though, because there aren't too many of those around (yes, I'm very lazy when it comes to videos, I don't really enjoy doing them too much, sorry), so props for that Meathead Mikhail.
I don't agree with using the horse at least for T2 though, you don't seem to have any problems surviving at all. As you say, you can sit there and face-tank. I'd rather have Falling Sword which can be used both offensively and defensively (it's actually quite good defensively as it teleports you immediately to the location of your choosing, and it spends the time in the air in that location, which can really help you out of trouble quite nicely.
Also, when it comes to Resource cost reduction, 10% is 10%, no matter how much the skill itself costs. It only becomes irrelevant when you can achieve a point where you can spam hammers 100%, like with my build (my build still uses resource cost reduction, as it is very difficult to do so without it, unless you have 6pc Akkhan's, in which case the build would look very different). A percentage is a percentage, and if you ever can't cast a hammer, then resource cost reduction will be useful to you.
I'm not going to comment on the fire vs. lightning debate here, I'll have a response to that going up in my thread in a bit. Good job with the video Mikhail. Grats on 3,000 subs, that's no small number. I've got to admire your persistence.
Thanks for the feedback Kapsu! I prefer the horse for mobility, not for survival (even though it's a good bonus). To me if a character feels 'slow' I don't really like to play it. My comment about resource cost reduction was based around T1-2 where a lot of players won't be able to max 2 categories and I think in that case Area Damage is arguably better.
As for fire, I'll be switching to it in T4 as I have some pretty good fire gear. That said, the T3 version is up:
More lightning damage stacking, little better gear, but less toughness. Still owns everything in T3. FYI the exact stats/gear in that video works in T4 as well, but it's a little too slow for my tastes (although still fast).
