Not sure if this build would work or not but Im excited to try out some of my 1h legendaries I have in my bank. With the idea of fast attack speeds and control in mind I whipped up this build. Should be fun to test live when Im off work today. If anyone wants to give feedback or suggestions that would be cool too. This would not be an end game build probably but just something fun to play with. Maybe with the amount of cc it might be able to do t4 and such but I really would have no way of knowing without testing it live with all the changes.
Finery Gain 1.5% Strength for every gem socketed into your gear.(Previously gave a static amount based on character level)
Holy Cause The amount ofdamage dealt by your weapon is increased by 10%. / Whenever you deal Holy damage, you heal 1% of your total Life. (No longer requires Holy damage from weapon)
Fervor While wielding a one-handed weapon, your attack speed is increased by 15% and all cooldowns are reduced by 15%. (Reworked from: When an enemy dies nearby you gain Attack Speed)
Fanaticism -Increase the attack speed of Punish, Slash, Smite and Justice by 15%. (Renamed from Nephalem Majesty. Reworked from: Increases the duration of Nephalem Glory by 30 seconds
- Reworked: Now increases the hero's damage by 35% and the Wrath regeneration by 10 for 20 seconds; Removed from tooltip: "The first time you take fatal damage while Akarat's Champion is active, you will be returned to full health."
Laws of Valor Cooldown is now 30 (down from 45) seconds
Build
Primary: Justice - Burst for stun and even more cc or Crack if you have lots of holy dmg gear already
Secondary: Ice Bound Hammer - Provides lots of freeze and control for your use
Skill 1: Consecrate Ice - Provides lots more control and healing
Skill 2: Heaven's Fury - Ascend - Provides some on demand dmg and with reduced cooldown from passive you'll have it more often
Skill 3: Akrat's - Hasteful for straight dmg, Rally (recommended) to get burst stuns or burst dmg through heavens fury or law activation
Skill 4: Law of Valor - Frozen in Terror - With the reduced cooldown on this spell and having akrats function differently you can have reliable stuns when you need them.
Passives:
Fervor - Reduced cooldown and increased attack speed
Finery - More strength and scales now
Blunt - Straight dmg increase
The last passive could be fanaticism, holy cause or indestructible to fit your needs.
Stats to focus on:
Cooldown reduction, Attack speed, Elemental dmg modifier (Holy or Ice or both)
That's a good point about wrathful that I hadn't thought of, however I wonder if the CC that I will have and the heal from consecration will make up from it. The hammers will be doing good dmg and freezing, the consecration will be slowing and freezing, and the hammer with burst will be stunning. I'll also have clone up time fairly decent for additional targets for monsters. I might need to sub wrathful or holy cause though depending on the torment lvl. Honestly I have no idea if it will work, just thought it might be fun to try out. Pre 2.0.5 I had been running a condemn BoP build and was able to do T2 easily and push content to T3 fairly consistently so I'll start there and see how it does then tweak and report back. Any other suggestions or ideas I'd love to hear. I think the dominion effect on a frost hammer would be pretty powerful combined with the increased attack speed and dmg changes in the patch. Wish I had a tf but sadly do not :(.
EDIT: The rework on indestructible might be a good survival thing for a high cc build as well. Don't know till tonight when I can play sadly.
After trying it out it was pretty fun but I found that I didnt quite have enough cold gear to justify it, though I wasn't having trouble surviving T3. I swapped the cold based spells for some holy with limitless rune and mowed stuff down quite nicely. The increased attack speed got to be very fast for a crusader so that was fun. Ultimately for now I'm working with a 2H fire build as it is very very strong which I will post assuming no one else does in the coming days.

Recommended Legendary (Preferably justianian's hammer): Justinian's Mercy: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/justinians-mercy
Or
Jace's Hammer of Vigilance: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/jaces-hammer-of-vigilance
Also having a Haunt of Vaxo would be really great for this build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/haunt-of-vaxo
