http://www.twitch.tv/mannercookie you should go watch this stream, he's live right now, doing t6 split bounties, yes i typed it right, split bounties, a thing crusader couldnt do before, just because the latest patch may have changed your build to worst doesnt mean it isnt opening up new and stronger builds.
Complaining without even knowing what you're talking about wont help anyone but your hurt ego.
and if you have 5 of every akarat piece sitting in your stash and can swap to a full perfectly rolled heavens fury build with 80% heavens fury damage with a heavens fury weapon and 6 set you too can still be viable at t6.
Do you guys know if patch hits all the regions simultaneously? If not - how Mannercookie even plays the game? )
After switching back from my fire barb to holy crusader before 2.0.5 I've noticed that i manage to survive almost all packs on T4 while having slower killing speed (even without speciall legendary/set effects from Julia's Cameo etc). Guess 2.0.5 will give us a possibility to minimize the gap between crusader and other classes. And with 30% less damage buff crusader will surely outlive barb in almost any case.
After playing for several hours last night, I was excited to read the thoughts on the patch this morning. But I am seriously surprised that people are complaining about nerfs. Really? You think this class got worse?! 30% damage reduction now, many reworked passives, increases to almost the majority of our skills, etc. I was able to log on last night and with a few skill changes was clearing faster than before patch and was taking less overall damage.
There were a few skills that had their secondary effects lowered, FoH bolts, but the main strike is buffed. The only real nerfs are Judgement with the 80% rune being lowered to 20%, Provoke with Charged Up doesn't seem nearly as effective for me, and the loss of endless skill spam through Akarats Rally. We also lost the revive when taking fatal damage during that skill as it's now a rune. But while in Akarat there is now 35% increased damage and Immune to CC. Someone earlier in this thread said there is no CC Immunity during Akarats but that is untrue, I was able to stand inside frozen champ attacks the entire time last night.
With the buffs there seems to be the possibility of more viable builds as well. Honestly, people need to actually play their own character once in a while and experience changes themselves and if you read patch notes, actually READ patch notes!
