I wanted to show you the build that i'm gonna play in season 7.
As far as i found out, this build was invented by chinese players long time ago, but it hasn't become popular for some unknown reason. Everyone was still obsessed with LON bombs.
Akkhan was buffed on PTR and build became a little stronger as well!
As high as on console. I also had doubts about console clear, but i talked to the guy several times and he says he's all legit.
The build is very strong but scales with paragon "more" than the Invoker 6pc. That means that with Invoker it is easier to push lower grifts as it has more toughness, but harder in higher grifts. With Akkhan + Invoker, and same paragon it is more fragile at lower grifts, but the more strength you get the more damage/toughness/recovery -> it starts to outdamage Invokers on the TOP END, because of more constant Akarath's uptime.
If you have p2000+ paragon then recovery (life on hit) is all you need for this build to rip grifts into pieces.
I'm still playing and getting used to akkhan+invoker setup and looks like i am liking it more and more, even above classic Invoker. The area damage scaling is absolutely CRAZY in this setup. Single target damage is absolutely TERRIBLE, but if you manage to lure elites to trash or RG has adds = it's absolutely devastating. On a side note: Akkhan+Invoker cleared GR99 in EU! (rank 6).
