I rolled this build with 2h IK weapon to meet reqs, but switched to dual wield EQ set only, using +44% elite dmg and some +% fire dmg items.
Seems way more dmg for me.
Also two more cents. I recommend to invest into CDR, as EQ is a lot of dmg and you can safely add up to 30% cdr. So you can leap more often and generate more fury.
Thanks for your feedback, that is exactly why i left out the enchant section and what gear is really required beside 3 parts of each sets. Still early stage on this build if there is more feedback i will appreciate it
Like, it doesn't even come close to what it should be. Sad. Better to aim for some proper items that don't gimp your damage like that. I suppose it might be better if you switched out the 2 hander, but only marginally.
^ dickecy, I was gonna suggesdt also Strongarm bracers for +30% dmg buff after seismics, that is a really nice little bonus too. Wish I could have these sets I am stuck smite spamming and troll charming whole groups of elites with Skull of Resonance...
Not sure if you've tried this build with Chilling Earth rune on Earthquake, but I use an extremely similar setup using all cold damage. I also use Strongarm Bracers for the damage bonus. They are triggered by Leap (Call of Arreat), Seismic Slam (Permafrost) and Avalanche (Snow-Capped Mountain), and since the only creatures that aren't effected by knockbacks are Elite and Boss mobs, it's a pretty nice speed increase overall for rifting.

Super amazing to see others have the exact thought . I was getting some %cold dmg items and about the same setup did came in mind, just did not collected enough to give it a shot.
Do see how you fixed a problem i was looking at when u go dual wielding, you slam faster and you be out of fury before leap is ready. Those ancients also do a perfect job in refilling the fury. You did help me get me answer to, once you go frost with this build they are permanent stunned Very nice

With assistance of this comment i did change to CDR and find it a must have stats on the build. As my experience as a 2 handed swinging Female barb, found the sweet spot at 20% (shoulders + helm). Exactly when i run out of furry Leap is there in time of needs to aid fury. Should be 30% for dual wielders as Dick3cy uses the same
Those Strongarms Bracers seem perfect in place in here to. Always got so disappointed when i see bracers drop now i am really looking forward to get these
Really appreciate the feedback guys keep us updated
Generally I run with Diamond in Helm (12.5% CDR) and 50 Paragon (10% CDR), which ends up giving 20% total. Mixing in the Ancients with that seems to work out almost perfectly every time with Fury going dry. I also have 25 into max fury, so I sit around 160 total with gear. In that video (and currently) I have a Topaz in the helm for some MF, and you'll notice once or twice where I do run out a second or two before leap. Overall though, even as DW, if you have the ancients feeding you fury, you would be fine with just a helm gem and some Paragon points.
For me it's more about speed with DW. Yes, using a beefy 2 hander like Sledge makes quake and slam do more damage, but the truth is it results in super slow Ancient attacks, and I end up running out of fury much sooner. As Dick3cy pointed out as well, you can spam abilities quicker, which actually results in things dying a bit faster.
I have a 3016 top end Sledge, and have done a lot of testing with that and DW combos, and generally find I like the DW better.
I have been using Ancients for ages, and yes... in T6 they do sometimes die to packs with a lot of AoE damage (Plagued, Arcane, Electrified etc...), but the build is still very good in T6. Personally, I prefer to run Cold at T5 and T6 because the control of freezing everything is way more valuable than the extra damage to me, and it prevents ancients from taking a ton of damage. Also, at higher torments, I sometimes drop Avalanche and take Warycry w/ Invigorate to help keep them alive.
