Kortiah, I tend to chase Succubi down with furious charge and leap, and soak up a few hits with ignore pain if it means doing damage to them. They are most dangerous if you're fighting other enemies because the debuff will wreck you, but I find that their own attacks are a little weak.
The gear requirement has gone up a lot, you actually need badass gear to do Act 3 now. I realize that a lot of you may now be unable to complete the run due to enrage timers, which sucks, but I think that we can work around that.
First, I suggest you guys try to play multiplayer. Since they also removed the increased damage from additional players, it is now viable to tank in a group. You may want to change a few skills, in particular Ground Stomp is great. Others you can try are Threatening Shout and Seismic Slam (Strength of Earth). Seismic slam is amazing against normal mobs but really struggles against elite packs, as they are immune to knockback.
So you're suggesting that we change our skills to Ground Stomp, if so what will it replace? And If we pick up Threatening Shout and Seismic Slam? Do we need all of them?
I really appreciate the effort u put on your videos, but clearly this is not intended, i mean its just plain stupid for as to tank up as much as we can to even think to do Act II its just stupid...
Here, look at my stats:
I drop very fast when i come close to a whites pack on Act II, not even think of elites, they just 2 shot me...
Its really lame to work all damn day an then come to my house to farm for maybe like 2 months or so to even have the gold necessary to go to Act II, pretty shitty by Blizzard.
All i wanted to do was smash some monsters with a big weapon and im stuck with a shitty tank spec to farm act i lol...
Well ACT 2 is not prob for me been crushing it for past week but act 3 after the buffs is just damn hard. White packs are good and not bad at all but some champ packs are just near impossible. I guess i need to save for a justice lantern and a Stormshield if i want to get out of ACT 3 any time soon...
I have come to realize it's pretty much impossible to get into Act IV as a Barb without at least a Helm of command or Justice Lantern.
The game is much easier on a Barb then my WD, who has finished. However the gear wall for Barbs is WAY higher. I sold all my WD's gear, which a lot of it was BIS. Yet I can't even afford to fully gear out my Barb.

I know what you mean. I like to progress, but I also like just smash stuff. Best thing for this is get yourself a GF set. This could set you back about 400k, not too bad. I then do Sigebreaker run all the way through to Azmodan on Hell dificulty. Be sure to get some pickup radius increases as well. The NV buff also adds to your GF, so buffed with 5 stacks I sit at 270% GF. The nice thing about this run there are allot of really big packs that you can just jump into and SMASH and each has a chance to drop gold. Doing this run I come out anywhere between 200k to 300k gold an hour, so its not a total waste of time! I don't know if this is the best GF run or what is, but it gives you a break from baning your head against a brick wall and still make a little gold on the side.
I have all barb bis legendaries (stormshield, lantern, helm of comman, ears) + other good items that reduce dmg and a3 is still not easy
I am at 10k armor, 50k hp, 1100 resist to all and 13500 dps, with 900 life on hit. Yet champ packs always end up widdling me down. I really need more block percentage, but Justice Lantern and Helm of Command are just to expensive right now. Yet the best place to make the money you need for it is farming Act III.
i think its not so Act 1.2.3
because you just run quick route to boss and kill him, better show stream where you actually cleaning act from the start to its end. With all mobs on the way
I havnt really noticed any differnce in my act 3 farm runs after the Tyrael nerf so im not that worried about how the barb is working. I think the barb is fine and when you get good gear you will probably farm faster than dh and wizards. I have 60k hp,43% block, 37kdps and 1k all res when farming. If I need some more defense I will just pop my helm of command back on for more res and block.

To get these stats you need the close to best gear currently available. Probably in 50-100mil range total cost.
DH needs 2-3 million to farm act3. And he will do it a lot faster.
Do you see the difference in class balance now?
Actually im doing runs faster than my dh friend so I dont see the problem
Tried as guide say, http://i45.tinypic.com/350093n.jpg got that stats, finally can move outside of town, but.. pretty much any frozen + molten packs are steamroll me. arcane + horde = just insta-death, died 3-4 times on big dude "mini-boss" before magda. he just pwn me under frenzy of his.
in the end i killed that dude, and Maghda too.. but he smash me too hard.. for such resists. and again, some packs are just impossible.. ie its pain in fifth spot to make 5stacks \=
ps. and oh yeah EU AH are spoiled... all like 2x times more costly
It's about other classes having far less trouble in Inferno farming items and eventually selling them to me. I farmed A1 for 2 weeks and I bought 1 slim upgrade and thats because I had 1 lucky drop which I sold for 3 mil. Eventually earned 5 mil in 2 weeks with drops, bought and item, still get spangled in a2. Whereas demonhunters can progress to a4 farming in just a couple of days of gearing up and getting better items + more money. How is that fair?
These videos were amazing. I took two lessons from it:
1 - pimp your follower. With 5k DPS, that is a hell of a freaking help. Mine does 1k, and I simply can't do a third of what you do. You run, she shoots. MAJOR difference.
2 - Siegebreaker bug on charge: sad face.
I'm not trolling or anything, just pointing out things that called my attention. I actually did the exact same thing you did when I started Inferno. Ended up with a pretty good set for 250k. All blues.
Tweaked it a bit, and I can say that my gear today, aside from amulet and rings which I found, is, if summed all together, under 500k.
I haven't found anything to sell for more than 5k in the AH though, so... no money to spend. With a few differences in build and so, but what you do there is basically my every day a1.

Again, thanks for the videos.
act 2 is easy as long its not insane rare packs.
look past the skills i was playing in a group earlier and had to taunt those fast little buggers of the wd
