This build is NOT aimed on crits, i only se crits as BONUS damage, i will never build for crit as i cannot TRUST Crit damage. (2H weapon)
Skills: Cleave/Reaping wind
Main Fury gain, an okay sweep skill that will kill simple and weak enemies while giving me nice fury
Seismic Slam/Cracking Rift
Single target, Range AND kinda AOE, its perfect all round skill that will help against allot! like killing bunch of monsters, killing a "shaman" in a pack, or just single target bosses. (damage is close to HotA anyway)
Leap/Call of Arreat *not sure on rune, might change
Move around, get in and our of combat, rune might change, depends on what i feel is needed. this is just to pull them closer and make use of WW+Brawler to clean.
Whirlwind/Vulcanic Eruption
Great AoE Damage and "okay" single target, will work nice whit Brawler.
War Cry/Invigorate
more armor, more health, regen, well an all around survival buff
Battle Rage/Marauder's Rage
More Damage, bonus crit
Passives: Inspiring Presence
More regen+double time on my buffs.
Brawler
Damage! works nice whit WW, and if i guess correctly, its not gonna be often i'm NOT surrounded by at least 3 monsters
Weapon Master/Bloodthirst
Damage increase (in some way) or Life steal, depends on my weapons and what i need.
Looks great. Only thing is having both Seismic Slam and Whirlwind. They both serve the same purpose and are both spenders, so you should really stick with one of them.

true! but i consider seismic slam single target/range, feels like there isn't much else that would benefit me.
can you give me an example if you ware to change seismic slam?

Even thou they are both spenders and AoE, there is some utility involved. Like the OP said, killing shamans in large groups is a good example. Without slam, you would need to use leap or run to him. And leap has a cooldown.
Definitely! i see it as an rage attack that can go thru anything and still kill something far away. even clean up a nice walking path there
and i would like also to have some feedback on my WIZZ close combat build take a look! http://www.diablofan...se-frost-build/
its TBH the build i am most excited about. it seems so COOL and nICE ^^
The only other skill that could work similarly to cracking rift would be Harpoon runed ancient spear, as it pierces multiple enemies and brings them all to you, into ww range Also, it's a generator, so more fuel for ww. Spear does have a cooldown, but between leap and spear, you'll probably be good.

not a dumb idea! but personally i don't find a gain of 15 fury to be worth it whit a 10 sec cd, as i'm not using leap for the fury either, its just a bonus
also the damage is less and its not spamable vs single targets. i get the idea as it will help WW allot and make it even more bad ass, but then again i don't really think its needed
i still prefer seismic slam whit that rune then that spear whit harpoon
(BUT i will try it out once the game is released, to see how it works...)
-Seismic Slam
+Weapon Trow/Dread bomb
--------
Whirlwind:
-Volcanic Eruption
+Wind Sheer
-------
Make shure u are using mighty 2h.
Basicly this way your whirlwind will actualy generate loads of fury against multi mob packs, or sustain itself against 2-3 monsters. Hence trow is your only spender and you will be able to pull some monstruos numbers with it.
Bottom line is, im not shure that this is end game viable coz you dont have any self healing capacity. Could work if you swap out rage for lets say overpower/revenge.

get what you are saying, its indeed interesting but i intend to kill before i am killed, there for removing battle rage and lava on my WW it will gimp me. but i will try it out, it might be better in the long run!
that axe trow thingy seems cool as well, but it will put me in a bad state (no fury) and i'm quite sure it will bite me in the ass one day :/
I chose Revenge with provocation because it seems like the ultimate synergy move with WW. You're swathing through enemies and are bound to be hit multiple times while doing so. Being in the middle of a pack allows you use Revenge the maximum of its effectiveness for huge damage and healing.
Furious Charge with Battering Ram for huge damage leading in.
Frenzy benefits a 2H more than cleave IMO, especially on tough single target. Also the heal mechanic for more survival.
Opposed to your setup mine is heavily based around constant life leech and high crit as my survival mechanic.

and i'm really uninterested in crit, it will be best for people to stop counting on it, as its a random chance, you will get your ass handed to you one day.
the use of Frenzy i really disslike aswell, its a 1 target skill and i just find that sooo uninteresting and bad.
cleave does more damage, to more monsters and there for having a higher potential. the attack speed buf would be nice, but thats just for frenzy, i don't want to be whanabe badass whit my fury generator <.<
charge is cool, but does about same damage as my seismic slam. but seismic slam does far more total damage (notice how the rune says "end of your charge"?)
other then that you have more leaching skills, meaning if you are feared for 5-10 sec you can be dead. my regen will always heal me and any life steal i get from items is just a nice bonus
i preffer my build, your is TO dependent on crits and life leech. and i don't like to depend on % chances

I would change it for Furious charge with dreadnought as a survival/dmg/charge ability, also generates fury and I can use WW 1 sec more while healing myself and damaging emenies, all while I charge to that caster mob in the back of the pack
but thats putting yourself in a possible dangerous situation (if leap is on CD). seismic slam wont do that in the same way
