This is a fun build I came up with with the idea being to generate as many health orbs as possible (along with extra "treasure," but that's really secondary.) http://d3db.com/tool...barbarian/13304
The idea is to stack as much crit chance as possible to proc extra health globes from Battle Rage: Swords to Ploughshares and Hammer of the Ancients: Birthright. My extremely sketchy math (because I just don't know enough about the mechanics involved like what the standard chance to proc a health globe is or exactly how the percentage chance from Pound of Flesh is applied) leads me to believe that this build will generate somewhere between two to three times as many health orbs as most builds, and with Pound of Flesh, that's four to six times the healing from health orbs (self only).
Thoughts? Advice? Snide remarks?

I know I'm thinking WAY ahead right now but this could have some incredible synergies with wizards in pvp because they have restore AP on health globe stuff, so you could theoretically have an infinite AP wizard raining devastation while being healed a ton to outweigh opposing damage. Fun build something I would totally consider trying for PVP or PVE

Wouldn't it be possible for the enemy to pick up those health globes too? Kinda of a double-edged sword if that's the case.

Enemies cant get health globes
I think he was referring to pvp and I didn't think of that actually I was thinking only friendlys can use them but I dont think thats the case in the PVP theyre gonna implement is it? So maybe im wrong, could still be good synergy with a couple of wiz for pve though
I think this build will be viable in PVE Inferno because I feel it has all of the bases covered. It has plenty of AoE from Overpower, Revenge and HotA as well as Frenzy for single targets and fast fury-building. It has buffs and stacked crit chance / crit damage to make those attacks hurt. It has defense in the form of extra healing. It has Leap for movement, which also pulls double duty (Death From Above rune for 100% stun chance) along with Revenge as an emergency button. I can't know the build will be viable because we don't know enough about what boss fights will look like and such, but I feel like it has all of the necessary pieces to be successful, though it may need to be tweaked for more defense such as trading Ruthless for a more defensive passive, etc., but that's minor.

Doubt it, too much rng even with increased chance for globes to drop.
You doubt what, that the build will be viable, even with tweaking? Wow. Out of cursiosity, can you link a couple of Barb builds you think would be viable? Also, I'm not talking about optimal here -- I'm talking about possible to play in Inferno without being crippled.
I know that the hype is that Inferno will be hard and, "you will die." I get that. But it seems like people think that means there'll be 1 viable build per class or something. I actually don't think the bar for "viable" builds will be very high at all and anything reasonable (ie covering the bases of movement, offense and defense) will be playable through Inferno, though some will be more gear-dependant than others and some will have more problems with certain champion affixes and bosses than others.
