Good luck in inferno with 3 skills waiting for cooldowns like this, I do find it enjoyable. But in the end I don't think Call of the Ancients is worth taking up a skill slot for the limited amount of time you can use it.
Ancients / Earthquake are abilities to use against bosses/elites/champions, etc. Just like Restless Giant, Big Bad Voodoo and Fetish Army for the Witch Doctor or Archon for the Wizard. Obviously you can use these abilities in other scenarios and they'll be good (you can keep Archon up for a little while longer if you can kill things quickly) but the cooldowns are really just too long to create a build around them. Wrath of the Berzerker you can keep up for a while with the right build, but it's kind of pointless because you'll end up losing the stats you gain from the buff.
Like I said earlier.. I just dont know why blizzard would even leave the passive boon of bull kathos in the game if not for this exact reason. I have no factual evidence to back it up , but it just seems like a foolish waste of a passive if theres not some sort of way to make this build work. But maybe i'm the fool ^.^ looking forward to doing this in normal - nightmare though and pushing it farther if I can also I want to go sword and board with WW as my rage spender I think.

I've already explained that this build will work. Let's break it down:
Coodlowns on all abilities:
Charge:10s and reduced for every enemy hit by 2s.
WoTB: 90 s(15s Duration)
CoTA: 90s (15s Duration)
Earthquake: 75s
Cycling these in:
-Wild Hypothetical champion pack appears!
- Use CoTA, once expired,2 abilities up, 75s cooldown remaining.
- 5 second travel time to next pack (hypothetical, it could be more or less depending on breaking objects / looting)
- Use Earthquake, kill mobs (lets just say 8 second fight for the duration of EQ).
- 5 second travel time to next pack (hypothetical, it could be more or less depending on breaking objects / looting)
- Current cooldowns: CoTA: 58s EQ: 58s
-Wild Hypothetical champion pack appears!
- WoTB popped kill pack, 15 second duration done.
-Cooldowns: WOTB: 75s CoTA: 43s EQ: 43s
This is under the assumption of instant pack to pack travel and fighting with no breaking of urns / objects for looting, picking up loot, running distance and a bunch of other variables like increased time to kill certain packs because of annoying mods. It also is assuming that you will have to use all of these cooldowns as soon as they are available which is not the case at all.
If properly spaced out, this build is more than viable.

They put it in the game so that you can use it more often. All the 120 sec abilities you'll use on regular packs even without passives like Boon of Bul Kathos. Same goes for adding seconds to Archon with each kill for the Wizard. The point I was making though is that there are builds out there that will basically require these types of abilities in order to be effective against bosses because things like AoE, Life on Kill and Thorns are worse against bosses. I mean there's nothing wrong with using these abilities, but you'll be able to make a better build by focusing on normal abilities.
And instead of stacking all 3 together I feel like you'd be better off making a more focused build and then adding on the ancients or earthquake if you feel like you need it to take down bosses. But yeah, all of these abilites are supposed to be useable outside boss fights, but they're most useful when used as part of a build that is particularly weak against single target bosses.

I don't think 1 build is better than another when there's no direct competitive difference. If it works, it works. That's it. Is the 3 cooldown build viable and can it be effective at killing mobs in hell / inferno? Who knows, but on paper it sure as hell looks good to me.

me too sir we should name this build so we can be accredited in the future when this awesomeness becomes standard
hrmm.. lets start idea bouncing.. maybe just Bul Kathos build?

I'm calling mine: No skill all Cooldown.
