hey everyone. so i have seen the changes to wastes set and i had a flashback to ex season 3 when they added a bracers that gave all the runes for WOTB and then they changed it to pants and they realized its too OP and removed it right before season started .now 3 seasons later ww is useless ...i mean it maybe good for TX but useless for pushing greater rifts .so maybe we can have a last moment change to make it great again...how?
well blizz tried to bring back skorn and all they did was to make another one just like it but a white item...how about actually make skorn useful for ww just like when it was over 1000$ on AH.so i suggest to give it a legandry power to give all the runes for WOTB ...but only when using ww so other build wont be too OP using it in cube.and then add a 30sec CDR for WOTB on 6th wastes set so we can keep it on all the time so then we may compete with other sets ...MAYBE.
thx for reading this post i would like to know your opinion on this change guys...
I loved playing Wrath of the Wastes! I would be very happy if they brought it back to the top.
We have the situation, that IK and IK+Raek are better than WotW. IK is the set about WotB and WotB is used in many builds. I don't think that WotB is where the buff should be placed to get the WotW set up to the others.
WotW is in a strange state, because it depends on two skills, Rend and Whirlwind. One is a dot that works best with slow two hand weapons, the other has the bul-kathos dual wield set available to buff it.
My idea would be to rework the 6-part bonus from "WW gets the dust devils rune and dust devils are increased to 2500% weapon damage" to "WW gets the dust devils rune and whirlwind damage is increased by X00% when damaging targets affected by rend". The synergy with rend keeps rend worth it in builds with fast weapons instead of a two hander and the more direct ww damage makes the damage more controlled and less dependend on little dust devils whirling around randomly.
Adding a third required skill ( WotB ) into set bonuses seems unhealthy. Of course, WotB is a skill to good to be skipped, but Warcry is also used by almost everyone, and instead of forcing us even more into those two by including them in more setbonuses, they should rather give is better alternatives.
