Hi Guys,

I don't have a thread here in the barb section that's active so thought I'll create this thread to share some of the things I've been testing on PTR and a place to discuss like over in the Crusader Forum.

This is a very big patch for the barbarian since Perm Berserker was removed and ROS came out.

Have been spending a lot of time enjoying the PTR and the new changes.

I was getting huge rend ticks with Full IK partial Wastes.

IK also plays really nice with new procs. My sash of knives and Schaeffer's were proccing huge.

Wow, you've been busy!

Thanks for organizing and sharing this. Will be interesting to see what changes between now and deployment (hopefully soon).

After playing on the PTR, I really think they need to permanently increase the drop rates a bit. Way more fun

Greatly looking forward to more build options for all classes. This was sorely needed... especially my favorite: Barb!

What a great pool of information and testing done so far. I used to main barbarian for a long time until they removed permanent wotb; I can't wait to put another 700+ hours into it now. Ultra hype.

Glad to see everyone excited about new possible builds such as Seismic Slam, it's been a fun build to use for both solo and in groups.

Put a team together and managed to get Grift 68, will update later with a highlight.

For now I started a dfans build for those that have been looking for this setup without having to watch the video.

Sure there may be a nerf in store for barbs just like what happened to crusaders and rolands. My estimate is the nerf on Roland bracer and change to F+R droped Crus about 6 levels of Grifts from what they could do first patch of ptr.

However, Rolands actually works now so it's still a huge improvement and considering the same for IK set. No one used this set so anything is a big improvement over the current live servers.

I sound like a broken record but I've been saying trials is the most cancerous thing to be introduced to this game and a completely broken concept.

The fact that it may be more efficient to make a lower level key and then try and speed clear that into the lvl of key we need just comes to show how retarded the system is and how over time it's just gonna get worse and worse.

The first 50 waves of trials is pretty much pointless after 100 hours of gameplay now

Wasn't there a belt that gave WOTB every rune? Wouldn't that be really good for the IK setup?
