I thought it was a great idea to have the chance and play D2 throw back for a few minuets if you wanted to. This seems like a cool feature to the usb-Soulstone, but I have a question. Will this version be compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 or newer? After all, that is what is listed as the RECOMMEND SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS*. Just wondering because I haven’t heard anything on this since I updated to 10.7 and was unable to play D2 since.
“Shackle your PC into unholy slavery with this 4GB USB soulstone and Diablo skull base. The USB also includes full versions of Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction so you can retrace the sinister path of the Dark Wanderer once more”**
I’m guessing its possible at the bottom of a long list of priorities for Blizzard, but I still haven’t heard anything official about this since 10.7 Lion stopped working with PowerPC versions of software.
I am confused, it looks like what you linked is the Diablo III system requirements not Diablo II?
maybe your being sarcastic by grouping the collectors edition as a whole into the system requirements?
Either way I would guess no. I am still running Snow Leopard myself but honestly I don't plan on playing Diablo II anytime soon and I already have Diablo II on my computer. It's ok though because it will look really cool.
Yeah, this is yet another reason I'm glad I stuck with Snow Leopard (and I have no plans to ever upgrade)... Been playing through D2x over the last while. Just got up to Diablo himself a few days ago. Ahhhh, so classic!

:/
Looks they recently posted that too. I must have missed that
Oh well, I guess when D3 hits I'll probably forget about D2 all together.
