God no. Once I hit 90 I stopped to see how many more baal runs I needed compared to how many I had already done, and I don't remember the figures exactly, but it was on the order of hundreds of times more. No damn way.
Got to 98, had a couple of ladder characters around 95-97 aswell, but the ammount of Baal runs you have to suffer to becomes unbearable eventually, even with staff and anihi, and you knw going form 98 to 99 is about the same time as 1-98, so you'll either have to be crazy or a bot to pull that off within a ladder season.
The grinding around 80 ain't bad, unless you're playing single player that is.

Highest was 98(ladder and on hardcore ), about 4 seasons ago. I'm working on my first and 2nd 99 at the same time ATM lol... Wish me luck
I have to admit the stupidly insane amount of runs needed is just well... STUPID. Going from 90 to 97 takes about 90 hours of baaling, then ontop of that 97 - 98 is around 90 hours itself and then the final lvl... 98-99 is around about 150-300 hours of baaling, the big gap is cause of the xp split u get at 98.
I think blizzard really screwed up bigtime on that and then no change to getting to lvl 99 with the now "6 month resets".... I can be done in that time but you have to play every day for atleast 2-4 hours...
Impressive to turn on the bot for a few hours while you do something else? Meh....
Anywho, highest lvl i ever had was 96. Not a fun process. Especially when you enter the portal too fast to a room full of gloams XD
