Hi, don't know if such a post exists, can't see one, so what the hell.
Obviously, as you can see, I've started replaying D2:LoD (and so have many others), both on multiplayer and on singleplayer, using the '/Players 8' awesomeness (nothing beats levelling up seven times in the blood moor) and I, a necro and my teammate, a barb have just recently hit Lvl30 whilst just recently starting ActIII.
It's the first time I'm playing Necro+Barb and I'm at that point where my build is just not good enough (Lvl 5 Iron maiden, Lvl 5 skeletol Mastery, Lvl 3 Skeleton, Lvl 3 Mage, Lvl 4 Blood Golem, Lvl 3 Iron Golem are my basic uses) and that my minions are getting ass-whipped in travincal! It's the first time my character has died so many times in one act.
So, turning to the barb, i asked 'wanna start again?' and he's like '...sure, we probably got a whole year'.
Warning: Playing again, after seeing D3 footage, can make you much more excited about D3 than medically prescribed.
***This post is intended for your input on replaying D2 before D3 comes out and what you hope will be carried over to D3 that we haven't read or heard in announcements yet, if an original thread exists, please delete***
I'm not so sure about your build but, back on topic.
I created a MF sorc simply because D2 has it's magic back with a huge influx of legit players. (see how long it takes them to start duping)
Honestly, I hope that respeccing will not be carried over in any form just like in Diablo II. Respeccing ruins replayability for me. What's the point in making a new character when you can just switch acouple points and become that new character with little or no effort.
Yeah about respecing if u think about barbs.. I had all barbs but axe and throwing barb.. also had 3 lance barbs one MF , one defense heavy and one vita speeder. If there was respecs I could just have 1 barb and respec it to different builds.. wouldn't be much fun.
Thinking of playing ligthly again since work takes up sooo much time, and I wanna do other things as well (just got 3 new games for my XBOX360.. CHRIST!)
But when I do start again it'll be on the EU realm once again (go Sweden!) aaaand.. I'm gonna make me a necro I think
