I like to keep my inventory clean. Anything and everything I don't need I stash or sell. When I have Cta, I always need to BC and BO before anything, even if I'm just trading or talking.
Well that is something you will never forget There has been countless times that i dont notice if my BO and BC are active and I end up dying or loosing a pvp battle.

Those before me shall quiver in my wake as I unleash the fury within!
This habit is just bad...kills me a lot. Now I'm beginning to stop it though.
If I have a potion in my inventory, I use it rather then the one in my belt...
Died a ton because of that...
My eye brow raised a tad bit...
I always keep my index and middle finger on keynumbers 1 and 2 above q and w. I have my left side of my palm where Ctrl is for running and my third finger on ~ to check my belt when i need to...W is right below 2 so a quick swap for weapons if I need to use CTA. But yea...I dont know how you did it by using potions in your inventory rather than your belt.

Lol, now that you mentioned it, I'll chime in and say that I do the exact same thing. If I do happen to use a potion from my belt, I just have to stop and fill it back up as soon as possible.
All of these stories and habits are great, and I'm glad to see I'm not alone with my quirks.

Neither do I...

Yes! I am not the only one.
I've lost HC people from that.
Which is the main reason I don't play HC anymore.
Anyway, one boss I ALWAYS have to kill, in every difficulty, is Coldcrow. Why? coldcrow was the first boss to kill me more than once in a row. Now, I shove it in her face that, yes, I can beat you, so hah!
I also have to kill every monster on the level. And I can never wear socks while playing a game, also I have to pick up every ring and ammy i find even if im like level 40 in the blood moor.

i always have to pick up all the gold that is left on the floor after every kill and open every chest, hidden rock, turn over every body, etc. even if it's locked. I also have to get all my stuff fixed and use a portal after my inventory is full. Another thing I do is i'll wait to use my skill points until I reach a certain level.

Same here, tho sometimes I defy this, but most of the time, unopen locked chests really bug me...
I kill nihlathak, during a mf game, i always try to call him, during a baal run, i always go to him (even when i know that ferret has already been there).

Checking the chest outside the countesses tower in black marsh
I crack the bones in my neck\hands\feet\any part of body alot when I play games. Especially if things are getting intense in pk or fps games
I use warcries with my barb way too much, same goes for energy sheild and shiver armour. If its a buff cast skill then I use it like 10 times over when no ones looking... and once more just too make sure
Town Portal books are always on the right hand side, always 2 books taking up the 4 right hand slots. then travelling leftwards it goes unique charms, other gcs, other lcs and then scs
I used to always carry 12 keys but I couldnt be arsed with that anymore
And a bunch of others. People must of mentioned those ones above before me but I couldnt be bothered reading 4 pages
Lol. I always have to have the ID book in the very upper right corner then the TP book right beside it to the left and the cube undernieth. Idk why I always hold it but I do. Lol.
If I don't have them that way, like if they are on the left side then I feel like I lost some space somehow. Deep down I know it's still the same amount of squares but I just feel that I lost space and have to fix it. Lol.

Ok now that you mention it, that is a habit I have. Damn it, I couldn't even remember I do that even when I tried to think of strange things I have to do.
In my case though, it most often happens if I have both Full Rejuvs and Healing potions. "Wait, I still have 50 hp left, I can make it with just a healing potion!" Then I press "I", click the healing potion, and proceed with dying
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

same exact inventory setup i use. I log on a friends account and feel sick when i see there books on the left or somthion outta place
I keep with me a town portal and an identification portal on the extreme left side of my inventory. And then there are healing potions and mana potions lined up with the books till 1/4th inventory gets covered, then there are little things like keys, charms etc. Then there is empty room to pick up things. The left hand side is totally empty.

Ha ha - all you "righties" - I like having my books on the left hand side, then charms and the right side for stuff I pick up.
I also would rather pick up a potion and use it than go to my belt. I do try to open/kick every chest, basket etc. - you never know what may come out.
It's nice to know I'm not alone. he he

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
