I once found an Ist rune off a regular Oblivion Knight in a chaos run. Then soon after I snatched myself a Ber from my forge after. (Always forget to do my forge)

I know you don't want MF for Countess, apparantly. I read somewhere that she rolls her chances for all her drops, than any spaces leftover drop runes. So high MF would make more stuff drop, less runes.
But don't take that as gospel, that's just my memory of a guide that's proably stupidly old.
Mf does not make more items drop...Since item type/class are decided befor mf% is even looked at
and since runes..are a type of item much like pots gold or any wpn or armor. Mf doesnt give better rune drops.
order goes like this...
1. Rolls through item list and decides what type of item to drop (a no drop slot also gets rolled through) here it decides wat "type" of item to drop (gold, pot, boots, gloves, belt, helm ect.....)
2. once item type is choosen then it chooses quality
3. Then mf kicks in and chooses whether ur item is Norm,Magic, rare, set or Uni (since pots gold and runes cant have magical types Mf has no effect on them, Also these item types are choosen befor mf ever comes into play)
These above steps dont include char lvls or monster lvls or item lvls which make it a little more complicated but the above order does not change
some people say that having high mf ruins ur chances of runes.. especially on countess and andy.
That shouldn't be right, she always has a chance to drop three runes regardless of what other items drop.
Of course, if you stack MF you'll be losing out on other stats, so perhaps you'd kill slower, which means less runes
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

Hell Countess once dropped me 2 keys, a dol rune, and a peseant crown.
I had the same thing with the double key drop thing. I wonder how rare that is for it to happen. But I didnt get anything else when Countess dropped the two keys for me.

Each key holder can drop up to five keys at time. However the chances are still slim for them to drop just one key in a single player game. Most I've ever had drop was three.
