I always told whoever was rushing me using MH that they shouldn't they'd get caught (it was still good for me though, easier rush :))
I never get caught.
But you know what happened to me? My chars were sooo gg, Blizzard gave all my chars a : Player not found, and just took whichever items they wanted, many items just magically disappeared
They were jealous of my items.
I am sorry you have to start all over like this Winston. I wish the best of luck on your resurrection.

Hero of the Trojan War, son of Telamon, thus called the Telamonian Ajax, also called Ajax the Greater. In the Iliad he is represented as a gigantic man, slow of thought and speech, but quick in battle and always showing courage. He led the troops of Salamis against Troy and was one of the foremost Greek warriors, fighting both Hector and Odysseus to draws.

ie: being under 13, forum abuse etc
I have no idea what MH is but I disrespect hacking in any manner...
MH = Map Hack, it basically alters your auto map so its always fully explored, and shows you all enemies, and un opened chests and containers. it also retains all previous features of the auto map, NPCs, other players, mercs, summons, etc.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

I suppose. That's why I don't feel bad for companies.
There was one time when about 1,000 users on bnet got kicked at the same time because they did a random MH sweep.
Its actually more like 100,000 thas.
"The first of the Diablo II mass bans took place right before Version 1.10. On June, 10, 2003, Blizzard banned 112,000 accounts in keeping with their "aggressive stance against cheating"
"Blizzard did have a 36,000 account mass ban on Aug, 11, 2005. The mass ban happened to coincide with the latest ladder reset and the release of Version 1.11 which added a few new items, a new quest, a new anti-cheat tool borrowed from World of Warcraft called Warden, and absolutely nothing against duping. Another mass ban of 35,000 accounts occurred on July 24, 2006; other than a possible revenue boost to Blizzard, the effects of the ban were little"
They have done MASSSSS bans before, so 1000 would be nothing. And bad luck to those of you who got banned.
I never get caught.

They can do that? C'mon, you're joking right?

Really? In any manner? You're such a prude. MH is the most harmless form of hack in Diablo II. And perhaps you're thinking that just cause it's the least harmless that that still doesn't make it okay. Well, it does.
Think of MH as some players' way of rewarding themselves for all the years they have legitimately played Diablo II on Battle.net. Think of it also as a way for dedicated players to cope with the lack of Diablo news or even plausible rumors. Going after people who use MH is like the DEA going after some random teenage pothead when they really should be going after the hardcore drug dealers. Or in other words, the people that hack and dupe items. They are the real jerkstores who ruin it for everyone else.
I always told whoever was rushing me using MH that they shouldn't they'd get caught (it was still good for me though, easier rush :))

All MH ultimately does is save players time.
