Is it me or did others also realize somethings, like anyother Diablo World places they make the towns and looks and feels like a real place in a real life land and what not. in ACT 5, the town Harrogath, hmmm sounds like somethings from like area of Beowulf, Sweden/Denmark is today. The people look sorta like that too, with the war like/grim fighting spirit. When you go into more deeper areas it feels like your in the Himalayas, like in Northern India/Nepal/Tibet, even the handwritings on the walls in side of caves and like when you are about the fight the ancients on the book that is same knid of handwriting, I know, I'm from Bangladesh, and the writing is excatly like that because it also comes from the Indian root hand writings I also asked some people with that too they said the same that it all comes form Indian roots. anyways eyah. ahh have you guys realized anything esle. it looks like European/Himalayan fussion everywhere :-) I'll post about Act 2 and things I found on that.
act one: western europe
act two: middle east
act three: south america
act four: Hell
act five: nothern europe

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
D3 will more than likely use some of the same d2 acts plus some new ones, but bearing in mind they will nah must be in a medieval setting, like 12th century Asia (china and japan to be specific)

PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

true, assuming the do what they did with Wonder woman, when Bruce Timm took over creative control, he made he Diana, and based her and her faimly of the greek gods.
but yes ancient greece and roman could feature. Titan quest copied from diablo, so why cant diablo copy from titan quest (its only fair)

Makes you wonder how popular D3 would be if that was the slogan.
But what can other settings can we get? North America? Not much to wor on there, the Indians aren't very likely to make an appearance. Neither are any African tribes, except for Egypt which has already been used in Act 2.
Australia is out of the question, and Northern Asia is just snow and tundra.
So that leaves China/Japan/etc. and perhaps India.

think of games like Age of empires 2: Age of Kings, Dungeons and Dragons, fable, might nad magic like most rpgs these games (and diablo or course) are set during the middle ages, somewhere around the 12th to 17th century (mostly, some games are before some after) in areas of our world that were vibrate comunities and countries, like europe, and the middle east.

Eaxcly, Australia and Africa has mainly been primitive tribes for very long until the colonization (is that spelled right?). And yes, now that you say so, Act 2 was kind of a mish-mash of several different parts. The dungeons were definately inspired by Egypt's tombs, but the clothing styles of the people and the whole design of Lut Gholein was distinctly Persian I would say.

True...very true. Im sure they could encorporate it somehow tho...
act two: middle east
act three: south america
act four: Hell
act five: nothern europe
We might also see ancient Greek/Roman cities (amazon islands come to mind here).

Greek and Roman style Acts would be cool, also the amazon islands for amazons, the equivalent of Haggoroth for Barbs, would be pretty sweet.
