Last Tuesday, for the first time ever I started to get huge lag spikes. Once I'd get into a game I'd immediately see yellow lag.
A week later, after re-installing diablo and updating my GFX drivers, I'm getting the same awful lag.
I'll be in a game, stand still I'll be around 80ms (normal) but when I start moving, very often I start to spike between 300-2000ms.
I have no idea why the hell this is happening - I ping yahoo.com for 35ms and I was re-downloading the game at 7mb/s.
I even put all my video settings down to the lowest setting. Any idea? This sucks that I haven't been able to play in a week and a half, so frustrating.
If I were you I would do a speed test http://www.speedtest.net/ to see if you connection is going strong. I would even go as far as calling your ISP (internet service provider) and simply ask for them to check your line to see if there is a problem with your router. IMO 50% of the time it is the router.
