Hey all, wierd thing has started happening to me recently. I'll be playing D3, everything's fine and then suddenly the monitor will just go totally black and I have to reset the computer to get it working again.
It only seems to happen with D3 and even then it's VERY rare (like two times in maybe four days of HEAVY play)
I am having this issue as well. It has only started to happen when RoS came out and only happens when I play D3. When WoW is up my vid card is about 68c and when playing D3 it goes up to 80-85c and is only using 40% of the GPU. Not sure whats up my drivers are up to date. I can go for hours and no shut down but then ill play for 5 minutes and my computer will crash. When it crashes I get a white or yellow screen and the audio will loop. Also my game is capped at 60fps without vsync. I don't normally use vsync because my computer doesn't like it.
I went on battle.net and theres a ton of suggestions you can do but I decided to uninstall the game then reinstall the game. Did it before today's patch and my game was fixed. I wasn't running MSI Afterburner or Razor Comms because sometimes programs running in the background or have overlays can mess with a game. As of patch I am fine now.
Same problem and it's not overheating it happens random one day you can play normally all day second day after 1h or even less black screen strange noise brrrr and reset pc blues gave temporary fix messing with d3prefs in documents hardwareclass set to 2 for some time it helped but black screen again showed up
Yep I did some things blizz said and it helped for a day or 2 but then the crashes came back. Def not a gpu overheating thing more of a Blizzard thing I hope they have a fix for it soon because this is outta control.
