oh man i am such a noob when it comes to video cards =/
the min system requirement for diablo 3 is ATI Radeon™ X1950 Pro or better
if i get an ATI Radeon 8600 will it work? or is an X 1950 pro more advanced?
sheesh why cant they just say such and such MB video card =/
im such a nob i want to cry, this is so embarrassing
actually when you look up the video card requirements it says OR an NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800 GT
which on ebay seem a little cheaper, so now im really confused.
I don't believe there ever was a radeon 8600, so I'm not really sure what you'd be getting. without knowing a price range it'd be a little hard to give good recommendations, but I'd suggest trying to get something relatively new. Personally I've always used nvidia cards, but realistically it's price/performance that you should be looking for. Here are a few suggestions, all of which will run diablo 3. If you need an AGP card instead of pcie, you might be in more trouble, but again this goes back to knowing what your situation is
just a list of lower end cards, most anything with 512mb or more video ram should prolly run it. if you need an agp card you're probably not going to escape for less than $60-70
back to ''requirements'' lets discuss what that means,
can i get something slightly less good than what the '''requirements'' video card is, and have it still work?
so its a bit choppy i dont give a hoot
in the diablo 2 days i had the bare minimum requirements to play on battlenet with 1 other person , according to the ''minimum "requirements"' i had to have about 500 mhz more or something to play with 7 other people, did that stop me ? heck no, i played in games with 4, 5,6, and 7 other people all the time.
so if there are any video card experts here? little help will be appreciated. because the NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT, look expensive =/
cost more than my computer, and diablo 3 put togeather
