so basically the g-card is mid performance (listed under low, on the list for d3 supported)

Yes, with that video card the game would probably run like crap, especially if you were in a group.
All games are were made and are compatible with 32 bit. You are better off with the 64 bit OS as that is the future, and you will likely get better performance with 4+ GB of memory, but 32 will work fine.
