I agree completely with both of those points, and they have both been forwarded since a while back. Unfortunately I can't tell you when such a change would be implemented by the dev team
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
haha didn't even notice that black line. I agree, more noticeable would be awesome
Ha, same, I just checked now and if I squint and move closer to the monitor I can just about make it out. How did this get the OK?
Oh and, it's the same for the "you posted in this thread" icon, it's basically the same colour as the background, I didn't even notice it until now when I was looking for that black line.

The question isn't why do I kill. The question is, why I don't kill everybody.
It goes a bit further than that for me. Not only is the new replies line hard to see, but what is the point of the star indicating you've replied to that topic? It disappears when someone else posts. It's only there when your post is the last. At least that's my observation. Maybe keep it there forever since otherwise I just forget where I've posted earlier. Not like there are only 30-40 threads overall on this board.
And the star itself is also pretty hard to see. Maybe make it bright red? Golden? Not sure, just something distinguishable.
Oh, and what happened to the ratings for topics? They're present inside the topic and people vote for them, but they are no longer visible outside it. More stuff for the back burner? :]
Other than that I suppose I feel quite content. ^^
Just checked to be absolutely sure and yes, the star that is supposed to indicate I've commented on a topic does not appear unless my post was the very last one in the thread.
While we're at it, may I ask for a mobile (or even better: responsive) website? Why should a tabled or mobile user use the same layout as a desktop user?
Just as a heads up, since the team probably doesn't have time to post or Curse haven't announced it to them, but the star in front of topics is fixed and no longer disappears when someone posts after you! Gratz!
edit: I take that back. It has actually evolved into a new bug. Whenever you enter a subforum and refresh it all the posts in it become "read" and therefor you don't see the black lines indicating new posts but you see your stars indicating you posted there.
2 different bugs it seems - the refresh one that causes the entire subforum to be marked as read and the one that makes the black lines of new posts eliminate the star you see for your own post.

I would like to suggest an improvement to the forum system.
Currently the only indicator of new posts is this super faint black line on the left side of the post title.
It is VERY hard to see. Please use some readable icon to indicate unread posts.
Also please make this icon link to the first unread post. It is very inconvenient to first click the topic and then the first unread post link.
