I remember when they introduced Brawling and how disappointing it was to the community. "fail, but better than nothing I guess" was the general consensus.
It was worse than nothing. It was quite literally the laziest, most half-assed PvP they could possibly have implemented. I would prefer them not have implemented it, as opposed to insulting me like that.

I know there's a stigma with some here about blaming good 'ol Jay for the many woes of D3 at launch. But IMO, he deserves it. He failed to deliver in a way that defies imagination. He had some successes, many aspects of D3 dev'd under his guidance were, in fact, terrific. But the many failures overshadow any praise I could lend him.
So that's another thing to remember ........ the landslide of Wilson-hate. Much of which has become but a memory, but echoes of his stain still remain, and always will. It took 7 (the exact number is debateable) years to launch a game that took 2 years to fix after it was launched.
