Do the people who come to this site not read anything on the main page? You have a GREATER leg chance and the RG makes up for the mats. How is anyone complaining?....I AM SPECIAL SO I DESERVE LEGS....stupid entitled generation.
I don't understand how people can accept that a 500% increase in pay for an item with only a 33% chance increase to get a legendary is even remotely balanced.
Also just to clarify 500 shards now doesn't give you a 33% increased chance for a legendary compared to 500 shards pre-patch. Each ROLL on an item you purchase has a 33% increased chance. Rolls now cost 5x more, you have to factor that in when calculating total value from your shards to realize your chances to actually get a legendary when comparing the same amount of shards you spent pre-patch to post-patch is actually much much less.
What happens if you are new(er) and don't have a character that is geared enough to farm high torment levels... it's will be even longer to reach that level of play. Overall I have to say I'm pretty disappointed and upset that I feel like I can no longer casually play Diablo 3 and I'm being punished for casually playing it before this patch, with pre-knowledge of this change I would have spent more time trying to gear at least 1 of my characters up to be able to farm shards faster. As it stands now I'll probably look for casual play in another RPG altogether.
I can't help but feel the cancellation of their future cash cow has something to do with suddenly extending the grind in their pre-existing games.

I'm guessing every people playing diablo should always agree no mather what happen to the game good or bad. It's all come down to an opinion or a point of vue. I don't know about others opinions, that's why I put that question inside my post to know what people think about the change they have made in the recent patch. The main forum was so full of Trolls and people dictating what everybody should think that I thought maybe here people are more civilized and were able to talk about it without that kind of reply.
I guest I was wrong... well so long Diablo "fans".
Oh and I almost forgot. In the bigger picture I think this decision is a GREAT one on Blizzard behalf. People will have to play more to get what they want (maybe not that much but anyway) So more people playing Diablo mean more people at Blizzard office for making more stuff for Diablo and other games.

I think for me, being at a lower Rift Tier its harder because now I have to do almost double the rifts for the same about of chances at a legendary. Since the changed I have only made about 1k Bloodshards since T1&2 give very few, and as such I have not gotten 1 Leg out of it. RNG is RNG though I just liked that every time I pressed the button I got a chance at a leg. Now I get less chances of the button press for twice the work. It is a bit disheartening. Numbers don't lie, but my RNG still hates me.
for 500 shards im getting 2-3 legs. thats not much i think. before that im spending my shards after every rift and getting 4-5 for 500 shards.
and im getting less veiled cyrstal for sure
i never got much more than 2 per 500 shards before the fix. some times 3 and even 4 Really rare occations. Most of the time 1 or less. Worst break was 1500 shards in a row without 1.
Now after the fix i get on avarage 3. Not gone one time yet with 500 and not got atleast 1 legendary
Just a quick heads up. A recent bluepost had suggested that they were "watching" on how people "feel" about Kadala's reward rate after the hotfix to crafting materials.
A political response if you ask me and nothing was mentioned on ether both side of the question but they know how we feel about it. For the bether or worse.
Even if the numbers were adjusted to increase drop chances it STILL feels worse to me on an emotional level. ( not very scientific, huh?)
But when you have 500 shards and stuff costs 100 shards, you really don't get many shots at something you actually want. And I walk away feeling somewhat depressed. I guess if it was 20 shards, and the rate was the same, at least I feel like I had more chances for that roll to go my way. Again, not a numbers thing proven out on paper, just my emotional gut reaction.
Its really hard to get legendary weapons from Kadala atm. 500 shards = 6 items ,thats mean RNG can easy troll u.
Im trying to get Furnace ,and my opinion is Kadala is the worst way to get a weapon. Maybe i spend 3-4 k shards to get 1-2 legendaries ,and the roll is between 2h spear, 2h axe,2h mace,2h sword, staff ,thats make Furnace almost impossible to get with only 6 items per 500 shards.

Having to work more for better rewards and not having much more rewards, even if the rewards are crap, I would say on the emotion side. I guess i could say i'm feeling sad about it. But I know it's not how it work and like you said, on paper the numbers are telling me that I will get more legendary out of it.
And calling playing Diablo 3 a "work" is kinda stupid IMO.

Just decrease the price..... I domnt care if the keep the stupid magic drop rate from her the same... Just drop the damn prices... Its BS to run so much to get 500 shards to get 5 things............ Its almost like they WANT us to stop playing now that Warcraft is coming out again.....
i don't like the new gambling prices. i don't mind going to haedrig to burn some items into mats because we need mats especially blues. now, i'm going to sub-torment games just to farm blues which is a waste of time when before i can easily farm kadala for blues.
they could remove the shards cap so we can focus on g/rifting and so we freely choose when we want to gamble. personally, i would want to g/rift for one whole day before i gamble.
For the last few days I've been running Grift starting from 1 to 25 to get around 500 blood shard for a total roughly 30 minutes each time. Skipping 1 to 9-11 to 16-21 to 23-25, a total of 4 or 5 grift depending on the time it took me to finish it and always getting around 500 blood shard for none to 8 legendary per hour from Kadala.
A good way to farm stuff without being too difficult. And without mentioning the legendary dropping from the Gardians.

Just gone 4000 shards , got 1 legendary . This is for cheap items too , can't really bring myself to gamble 2 handers and amulets etc .
I said in an earlier post I can easily go 500 without a legendary , now after some time I can say , I can go fairly regularly 1500 shards for 0 .
Seriously not happy with this .
Just want some clarification: 4000 shards and 1 total legendary or 4000 shards and 1 usable legendary and some other salvaged legendaries?
Usually, when I ask this question, the answer is "just because an item is orange doesn't mean it's legendary," which is another way of saying, "I don't understand the question and I'm just complaining because I didn't get the item I wanted."

Sorry if you misunderstood , no I don't whine about getting 1 legendary if in fact I got other orange / green items I spent 4000 shards and in the last 500 I got 1 orange item , none before that none after . I believe it was something like blind faith too , so in your words not even a legendary legendary
Feels like when you miss now the punishment is more severe .
Don't get me wrong , sometimes I get 2 or 3 in those 500 , hell , I had 25 shards and was logging so gambled them and got a legendary .
I'm just pointing out that when I do miss I seem to have some doozy's .
gambling on amulets is currently very painful. If all items just cost 25 shards then that would be an improvement imo.
Probably also too cheap for Amulet or Ring slots. They have exceptionally limited legend pools, which significantly affects gambling.
Edit: For 25 shard items I get 1-4 legends for every 500 shards I spend.
Yes, and the chance for certain amulets is already miniscule so there isn't really any reason why the bloodshard cost should be higher in addition to that.

I'm okay with them, but doubling the prices would be better I think. Just to get the ball rolling and to see where it gets.
